Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
The premises licence holder shall ensure all staff will receive training in responsible alcohol sales, training records will be kept at the premises, and refresher training will be undertaken with staff on a regular basis. Staff training records will be made available upon request to an officer of the local authority and or the Police. Prevention of crime and disorder
The premises licence holder shall keep and maintain refusals register and incident log on the premises which will be available for inspection by an authorised officer on request.
The premises licence holder shall ensure all incidents of crime and disorder will be reported to the police. Public safety
The premises licence holder will ensure the outside decking area shall be well lit and slip proof.
The premises licence holder shall ensure that the appropriate fire safety, and health and safety regulations are applied at the premises. Prevention of public nuisance
The premises licence holder will ensure patrons will be asked to leave the immediate area quietly and to not behave in an antisocial manner. Protection of children from harm
The licence holder shall implement the 'Challenge 25' scheme, ensuring prominent signage is displayed throughout the premises and all staff are trained in its operation.
The premises licence holder shall ensure that any person selling or supplying alcohol at the premises, under the authority of a Personal Licence Holder, asks for photographic proof of ID document where they have reason to suspect that the individual may be less than 25 years of age.
