General Conditions The company will continue to ensure investment and management of the premises to ensure that the premises trades within the law and provides what is best for staff, customers and other visitors to the store. Crime and Disorder Alcohol will not be sold to anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol will not knowingly be sold to anyone under age. A refusals book will be kept and checked on a regular basis. CCTV cameras will be provided and images will be kept for at least 28 days. These images will be available to the police and an authorised officer of the Council upon request. Public Safety Emergency lighting and evacuation procedures shall be maintained. Fixtures and fittings will be provided and maintained in accordance with company standards. Electrical equipment will be checked on a regular basis and risk assessments will be undertaken. First aid equipment will be available at all times. An accident book will be maintained and checked on a regular basis. Spillages and breakages will be dealt with in accordance with company policy. Prevention of Public Nuisance Noise, light and odour levels will be controlled to reduce the risk of causing public nuisance. Deliveries to the store will be arranged at reasonable times of the day. Adequate litter bins will be provided for customers. Protection of children from harm Prove It/Citizen Card/Challenge 25 or a similar scheme will be implemented at the premises. Till prompts on the tills will be in use to remind operators to check age of customer. Employees will be trained in accordance with company's procedures on the sale of alcohol, cigarettes, solvents and blades.
