Licence conditions (18)

The digital CCTV system shall be maintained at the premises in good working order and used at all times when the premises are open for licensable activities. Any CCTV footage shall be held for at least 31 days and shall be made available to an officer of the Licensing Authority or Police on reasonable request, in line with data protection legislation.
The CCTV system shall be maintained, fully operational and in good working order at all times and make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol, facial images of purchases of alcohol, as well as show an accurate date and time that the images were made.
The original, or a copy, of CCTV images shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software, if requested by the Licensing Authority or Police.
Where Pubwatch exists covering the area in which the premises is situated, then the DPS or other nominated employees shall participate in Pubwatch.
The premises will use toughened glass where available.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve where the premises operate with DJ led entertainment there shall be a minimum of two door supervisors from 19:00 hours until close. At all other times, the need for door supervisors will be assessed by way of risk assessment and cognisance will be taken of any Police advice.
The Licence Holder shall operate a policy of zero tolerance with regards to drugs.
An incident log book (which may be electronic) shall be kept on the premises and made available on request to an authorised officer of the Council or the Police which will record the following:- a) Any incidents of disorder; b) Any seizures of drugs or offensive weapons; c) Any ejections of patrons.
An ID scan system shall be installed at the premises and used to scan all patrons entering the premises from 19.00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights when the premises trades until 01:00 for the sale of alcohol.
In the event of the ID scan system malfunction action must be taken immediately to rectify the fault.
Information held on the ID scan system shall be made available with minimum delay upon request of the Police or authorised Officer.
Reasonable steps shall be taken to recognise the rights of local residents and to encourage customers to leave the premises quietly.
Notices will be displayed at the premises exits requesting customers to leave quietly and reminding them that they are in a residential area.
Where the premises operate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings with DJ led music or entertainment, a responsible member of staff shall carry out proactive noise assessments outside the premises at least once an hour to ensure noise is not audible at the boundary of the nearest noise sensitive property and remedial action shall be taken when noise is found to be audible.
A written record of proactive external noise assessment where remedial action has taken place shall be kept for a minimum of 31 days from the date of the last entry on the record and this record shall be available upon inspection by Council officers at all times the premises are open.
The rear garden area shall be closed to customers from 23:30 save for customers who wish to go outside to smoke. The rear garden area shall be closed to all customers from midnight.
A Challenge 25 Proof of Age Scheme will be operated at the premises where the only acceptable forms of identification are photographic identification cards such as driving licence or passport.
A log (which may be electronic) shall be kept detailing all refused sales of alcohol. The log shall include the date and time of the refusal and the name of the member of staff who refused the sale. A copy of the log or electronic report shall be made available to an authorised police officer and licensing authority officer upon request.
