Licence conditions (23)

On Fridays and Saturdays the premises shall operate as a takeaway and delivery service until 01:30 hours only, and from 01:30 hours until 03:00 hours it will operate as a delivery service only.
The premises licence holder or nominee will stack interior seating at 23.00 hours so that customers cannot sit at these tables.
Any delivery vehicles operating from the premises shall use the rear of the Premises accessed from the alleyway located on Lion Road.
A minimum of 1 registered SIA door supervisor shall be employed on Fridays and Saturdays from 23:00 hours until 01:30 hours and they will remain on duty until the area in the immediate vicinity is cleared of customers.
From 01:30 hours on Fridays and Saturdays lighting for the customer area and the lighting on the outside of the premises will be dimmed. The front doors shall be locked. Internal blinds will be pulled down and a closed sign shown on the front door to discourage any customer from entering the Premises.
No customers will be allowed on premises after 01:30 hours.
Deliveries shall only be made to a residential or business address which the customer uses in an official capacity. Deliveries shall not be made in a public place (street, park, bus stop etc).
Clear and legible signage shall be prominently displayed at the exit reminding customers to leave quietly and to dispose of their litter responsibly.
The external area immediately to the front of the premises shall be managed by staff and will collect any refuse which may accumulate up until the end of the licensable hours.
The CCTV system serving the premises (in accordance with Home Office Guidelines) shall be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times.
All CCTV images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days.
The original CCTV images shall be shown immediately upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
The original CCTV images, or a copy, shall be provided to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person within 48 hours of a request having been made in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
There shall be a member of staff on duty at all times who can operate the CCTV system.
(a) Fire appliances shall be provided, positioned and maintained to the satisfaction of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (b) Whilst staff or customers are on the premises, the rear gate to the premises must be made to open at all times without the use of a key
The licensee shall take all reasonable precautions for the safety of the public and employees and, except with the consent of the licensing authority, shall retain control over all portions of the premises.
The licensee or some responsible person nominated by him in writing for the purpose shall be in charge of, and upon, the licensed premises during the whole time that they are open to the public. The person in charge should be conversant with the conditions of the licence, a copy of which should be held on the premises.
(a) The licensee shall maintain good order in the premises. (b) The licensee shall ensure that the public are not admitted to any part or parts of the premises other than those that have been approved by the licensing authority. (c) The licensee or any other person concerned in the conduct or management of the premises shall not seek to obtain custom by means of personal solicitation outside or in the vicinity of the premises. (d) The premises shall be conducted wholly or mainly for the purpose of providing refreshment (that is to say food and/or drink) to the public. (e) No articles or goods shall, unless the consent of the licensing authority has first been obtained, be sold, displayed, hired, exchanged, loaned, demonstrated, or offered for sale, hire, loan or exchange on the premises except for items of food and drink which are provided for refreshment of members of the public.
(a) The licensee shall ensure that no noise shall emanate from the licensed premises or vibration be transmitted through the structure of the licensed premises which gives rise to a nuisance to the occupiers of premises in the vicinity of the licensed premises. (b) Without prejudice to the generality of this condition the licensee shall ensure that no form of loudspeaker or sound amplification equipment is sited on or near the exterior of the licensed premises or in or near any foyer, doorway, window or opening to those premises.
Overcrowding shall not be allowed in any part of the premises.
No change of use of any portion of the premises from that approved by the licensing authority shall be made until the licensing authorities consent has been obtained thereto.
The premises, equipment and fittings shall be maintained at all times in good order, repair and condition.
Alterations or additions, whether permanent or temporary, to the approved arrangements including the means of lighting, sanitation or ventilation or to the structure or layout of the premises, shall not be made except with the prior consent of the licensing authority. Provided that this condition shall not require notice to be given to the licensing authority of any work that is necessary for the efficient maintenance of the approved arrangements and which are carried out in accordance with these conditions. Notice in writing shall be given to the licensing authority of any alteration or addition proposed to be made, and such notice shall be accompanied by full details and, if necessary, by drawings (in duplicate). The work shall not be started until the consent of the licensing authority has been obtained. Notice in writing shall be given to the licensing authority of intention to carry out work necessitating the use of internal or external scaffolding, cradles or plant. If the licensing authority shall so require, the premises shall be closed to the public until the work has been completed and the scaffolding, cradles and plant have been removed. NOTE Any consent under this condition does not relieve the licensee of any necessity to seek a variation in the terms of the licence e.g.

Licensed hours are the most a premises may open or trade under its licence, not its actual opening times.
