At all times when the premises operate in accordance with this licence the CCTV cameras serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order; b. make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and the facial images of the purchasers of the alcohol, all alcohol displays and entrances, exits and the exterior of the premises; and c. show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made.
All CCTV recordings shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days and shall be made available for viewing by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person upon demand.
Copies of CCTV recordings shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised Council officers. Copies shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
Recordings shall be regularly reviewed by the Designated Premises Supervisor to ensure that any sales of alcohol made during any period the Designated Premises Supervisor is absent from the premises have been conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 and the conditions on this Licence. Records shall be kept of occasions when viewings have been made and these records shall be made available for viewing by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person upon demand.
No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
The premises shall operate in accordance with the ¿Challenge 25¿ scheme and all customers attempting to purchase alcohol who appear to be under the age of 25 shall be required to produce a valid proof of age. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises.
The only proof of age accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport; c. UK photo driving licence; or d. other form of ID as agreed with the Licensing Authority.
A refusals book, or similar record, shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time, and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been refused. This book or other form of record must be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
Staff shall receive regular training on the operation of the CCTV system on induction and thereafter at least once every six months. Such training shall be recorded and these records shall on request be made available to the Police, community support officer or an authorised person.
All containers of alcohol sold in accordance with this Licence shall be marked with a label identifying the premises and accompanied by a receipt showing the name and address of the premises Labels suitable for use in identifying the premises include ultra-violet labels bearing a unique premises reference mark that are applied in a prescribed manner both of which have been agreed with the Police.
All staff shall receive training on the prevention of underage sales. This shall be the minimum of the BII Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing. Such training shall be recorded and these records shall on request be made available to the Police, community support officer or an authorised person.
No sale of alcohol shall be made unless the designated premises supervisor or the holder of a personal licence is present on the premises.
The following alcoholic beverages shall be displayed behind a staffed counter:- a. mixed alcoholic beverages under 10% a.b.v; b. beers or ciders over 6% a.b.v; and c. all sprits.
