Licence conditions (18)

The Licence holder will operate a responsible and well-managed coffee/wine bar that fosters a safe and enjoyable experience for all customers.
The Licence holder will ensure that all staff are trained on 2.1 age verification 2.2 responsible Alcohol service 2.3 conflict resolution 2.4 deterring underage drinking and intoxication-related issues. With regular refresher training and training records kept and available on inspection by a Responsible Authority.
Programming will be culture led (talks, intimate live music, small-scale performances, curated screenings) delivered in an adult-orientated setting from 17:00
The venue will operate an adult focused space. Prevention of crime and disorder
The licence holder will have clear security procedures in place, including closing procedures and cash handling protocols, to minimize theft and vandalism. They will enlist law enforcement where needed.
An Incident log will be kept at the premises, recording all incidents and refusals of the sale of alcohol. It will be made available to an authorised officer of the Police or Council on request. It must be completed within 24 hours of the occurrence and must record: a) occurrence date and time, b) names of staff and persons involved (if known), c) details of all incidents, crimes reported, refusals of the sale of alcohol, ejections, or banning of customers, and d) any visits by relevant authorities or emergency services, and the purpose of the visit. The licence holder will adhere to all fire safety regulations and maintain appropriate fire extinguishers and escape routes.
The licence holder shall ensure staff will be trained in basic first aid to ensure customer wellbeing in case of emergencies.
The licence holder will ensure all electrical equipment will be regularly maintained and inspected to prevent electrical hazards.

The licence holder will remind customers to be respectful of noise as they enter and exit the premises and dissuade loitering outside the premises.
The licence holder shall ensure that there is a designated waste disposal plan to ensure cleanliness and prevent pest issues.
The licence holder will be vigilant in trying to prevent customer behaviour from escalating in the first instance. Additionally, the licence holder will train staff to address any disruptive customer behaviour and enforce responsible drinking practices.
Doors and windows will be kept closed during performances except for access and egress. Protection of children from harm
The licence holder will ensure a Challenge 25 policy will be implemented requiring all customers who appear to be under the age of 25 to produce photographic identification in the form of a passport, driving licence or proof of age scheme (PASS) approved identification, before alcohol can be supplied or sold to them.
All staff will be instructed, through training, that alcohol cannot be supplied or sold unless valid identification is produced.
The premises licence holder shall ensure that notices are prominently displayed in the premises to advise patrons and staff that a ‘Challenge 25’ scheme operates in the premises.
Under 18’s are not encouraged to attend. All under 18 year olds must be accompanied by an adult and seated at the front bench for clear supervision.
