Licence conditions (27)

Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
The licensee and their staff are aware of their responsibility for the effective and safe management of the premises and the promotion of the four licensing objectives.
Alcohol sales are only to be authorised by a person holding a personal licence.
Training shall be provided to all staff as to the prevention and management of problems occurring at the premises and is regularly updated. Prevention of crime and disorder
An alarm is installed at the premises to protect it when closed or empty.
Staff or private areas and cellars are kept locked and secured whilst the premises are open to the public.
CCTV is installed inside the premises and recordings kept for 28 days.
A zero tolerance policy to the use of drugs and carrying of weapons in the premises has been adopted.
Any person who appears to be under the influence of alcohol will be refused service and asked to leave.
Drink-aware posters are displayed in the premises to remind customers of the unit content in alcoholic drinks and the safe alcohol consumption limits. Public safety
A full risk assessment taking into account public staff and customer safety has been carried out to identify potential hazards posed to staff or customers and sets out precautions to manage the hazards.

Doors are fitted with self-closing devices.
Prominent notices must be displayed close to the exit doors, requesting patrons to leave the premises quickly and quietly.
Commercial deliveries, collections, and storage/disposal of waste, including beer deliveries, refuse collections and storage/disposal of waste and recyclables in external areas are restricted to normal working hours between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Protection of children from harm
There is a documented policy setting out measures to protect children from harm at the premises. All staff are trained on the policy.
The admittance of children is only permitted if they are accompanied by an adult.
A strict ‘No ID - No Sale’ policy shall be operated. Only photographic driving licences, passports or PASS (Proof of Age Standards Scheme) cards are accepted as means of ID.
