CCTV will be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition. Equipment must be maintained in good working order, be correctly time and date stamped, recordings MUST be kept on the hard drive and kept for a period of 31 days. Additional cameras will cover the following:
External areas including alleyways, rear doors and any access to premises
All areas accessible by staff which are not licensed A staff member from the premises who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises is open to the public. This staff member shall be able to show Police or authorised officer recent data or footage with the absolute minimum of delay when requested. All persons that sell or supply alcohol to customers must have licensing training. a. Training should take place within six weeks of employment and any new employees will be supervised until the training has taken place. b. Refresher training should be repeated a minimum of every six months or earlier if required due to changes of legislation. c. Training records must be kept on the premises - in either electronic or handwritten format - and shall contain the nature, content and frequency of all training. d. Records must be made available for inspection by Police, Police Licensing Officer and authorised officers from the Local Authority upon request either electronically or hard copy. A Challenge 25 proof of age scheme shall be operated at the premises where the only acceptable forms of identification shall bear their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark. Premises to keep up to date records available for inspection of staff training in respect of age-related sales. A diary log shall be kept detailing all refused sales of alcohol. The log should include the date and time of the refused sale and the name of the member of staff who refused the sale. The log shall be available for inspection at the premises by the police or an authorised officer of the licensing authority at all time whilst the premises are open. A logbook - in either electronic or handwritten format - shall be kept detailing all incidents that involve any allegation of trouble involving members of the public that occur at the Premises.
