Licence conditions (28)

This licence is for one 5-day event per calendar year, to be held between the months of May & September.
Staff will be trained to ensure compliance with the law in relation to responsible alcohol retailing; the consumption of alcohol; as well as preventing sales to persons under 18 years of age, including prevention of adults buying alcohol for children. Prevention of crime and disorder
No binge drinking promotions will take place.
Any person who appears to be drunk or aggressive will not be permitted onto the premises.
An SIA security team will be available at all times for the duration of the festival.
No bottles or glass will be allowed onto the premises:
All alcohol will be served in plastic glasses.
There will be a zero-tolerance drug policy and individuals will be subject to random searches. Public safety
Supply the Food and Safety Team with an Event Management Plan applicable to the event at least 28 days before any event where more than 500 people are expected to attend.
Any changes to the event management plan that are made within 28 days of the event must be brought to the attention of the Food and Safety Team at East Suffolk Council.
Supply the Food and Safety Team with health and safety risks assessments applicable to the event at least 28 days before any event where more than 500 people are expected to attend.
All temporary structures will have current sign off certificates and a full drinking water safety plan will be in place.
The event organiser must ensure that all food outlets are registered with a local authority.
All staff will be aware of current legislation, risk assessments and evacuation plans.
A medical team will be on site
All aspects of health and safety/fire safety and road safety will be agreed with the relevant authorities at a SAG meeting
A designated health and safety officer will be present throughout the festival
An environmental recycling program will be used at the festival to ensure bins are emptied/recycled accordingly.
Sufficient toilets will be in place and emptied accordingly.
All structures will have the relevant risk, test certificates and suitable insurance.
There shall be a full evacuation plan in case of emergency. Prevention of public nuisance
All sound levels will be agreed beforehand with environmental health and monitored throughout the event in line with our sound management plan.
All residents in the surrounding area will be notified of the event and will be aware of our complaint’s procedure.
A traffic management plan will be undertaken and complied with. Protection of children from harm
There will be a child protection policy in place.
A separate family camping area will be available; as well as a children’s area with child activities.
A Challenge 25 policy will be used to separate alcohol from the children’s area
Where there are under 18 years of age children with a responsible adult. Proof of age will be required if someone appears to be under 18 years of age.
