General Conditions Crime and Disorder
The licence holder will ensure that licensable activities are permitted only during events run by, or in conjunction with the Theberton and Eastbridge Community Council. Any licensable activity taking place under these circumstances will be supervised by one or more members of the Theberton and Eastbridge Community Council
The licence holder will not permit persons who hire the hall to carry out any licensable activity unless they hold a Temporary Event Notice (TEN). The hirer will be required to abide by the conditions of that TEN and by the conditions of the hall's premises licence.
The licence holder/DPS shall implement the 'challenge 21' scheme, ensuring prominent signage is displayed throughout the premises and all staff are trained in its operation.
The licence holder/DPS shall implement an ejection policy ensuring all instances of drunkenness, disorder, drug use, violence, or any other unlawful activities are challenged, resulting in the ejection or retention of the individual(s) and under serious circumstances, consideration shall be given to their permanent exclusion from the premises in future. All such instances must be notified to the police at the time of happening or as soon as possible thereafter.
The licence holder/DPS will ensure that all staff engaged in the sale of alcohol are given suitable training in responsible alcohol retailing. For private hire events the licence holder/DPS will ensure that the sale of alcohol is carried out by persons who are suitably trained, and that all sales are made in a responsible manner. For the avoidance of doubt this training can be administered in-house. Training records shall be kept on the premises and produced to the police and authorised local authority licensing officers on demand. Public Safety

All external doors and windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress when any regulated entertainment is taking place.
The volume of any description of regulated entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
