Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
General Conditions Training of staff to ensure compliance with the law in relation to consumption of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age, including prevention of adults buying alcohol to children. Separating alcohol from children’s area All staff to be trained in responsible alcohol retailing Any person who appears to be drunk or aggressive will not be permitted onto the premises A full evacuation plan in case of emergency Free drinking water will be available at all times Crime and Disorder The festival is a family friendly event attracting a demographic of 6moths to 65+ No binge drinking promotions will take place Any person who appears to be drunk or aggressive will not be permitted onto the premises An SIA security team will be available at all times for the duration of the festival No bottles or glass will be allowed onto the premises: All alcohol to be served in plastic glasses. Maui Waui Events has a zero tolerance drug policy and individuals will be subject to random searches. No pre-brought alcohol will be allowed to be taken into the main arena. No bottles or glass will be allowed onto or off the premises Public Safety All staff will be aware of current legislation, risk assessments and evacuation plans. A medical team will be on site All aspects of health and safety/fire safety and road safety will be agreed with the relevant authorities at a SAG meeting An designated health and safety officer will be present throughout the festival An environmental recycling programme will be used at the festival to ensure bins are emptied recycled accordingly. A Noise Management Plan shall be provided to the satisfaction of Suffolk Coastal District Council Environmental Protection Team at least 60 days prior to the event. This plan shall identify how noise arising from the event will be effectively controlled so as to prevent public nuisance and show full compliance with licence conditions and with the Code of Practice on Environmental Noise Control at Concerts (published by the Noise Control Council, 1995). In particular the plan shall include the following; a. A plan of the site indicating the main stages and where noise will arise b. Full details of the regulated entertainment programme as known at that time, and updated at least 7 days prior to the eventc. Details of the Acoustic Consultancy or Noise Management Service to be used, including contact numbers that can be used during the eventd. Measures to be taken prior to the event in respect of noise mitigation, (i.e. agreement of noise monitoring points on and off site, noise propagation analysis, resident letter drop with contact details during the event) e. Liaison with Suffolk Coastal District Council Environmental Protection Team f. Noise Risk Assessment for staff and members of the public who may be exposed to hearing damage, including target sound levels at front of house g. Control of unauthorised noise on site (i.e. private parties) h. Over run strategy
At least three weeks prior to the approved event, the Licensee shall notify the Local Authority Environmental Protection Team of any proposed fireworks, pyrotechnics or laser lighting. Only those agreed with the Local Authority Environmental Protection Team shall take place.
No aerial fireworks or pyrotechnics after 23:00.
The Fireworks Regulations 2004 (as amended) shall be adhered to.
