Licence conditions (20)

Any alcohol supplied for consumption off the premises must be in a sealed container.
Alcohol may only be sold to persons seated at a table.
The premises shall close to the public 30 minutes after the latest time for the sale/supply of alcohol.
Deliveries to the premises shall only be made between 07:00 hours and 23:00 hours on Monday to Saturdays only.
Customers will not be admitted to the premises above opening hours and will be asked not to stand around loudly talking in the street outside the premises.
The provision of late night refreshment shall be restricted to consumption on the premises only.
Where amplified or unamplified music and or vocal performance is to be provided at any time during the night hours (23:00 hours to 07:00 hours the following day), noise from the provision of regulated entertainment shall be inaudible at the façade of nearby residential properties.

The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. This means that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID.
The only forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a) proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b) passport; or c) UK photo driving licence;
Notices advertising that the premises operates a "Challenge 25" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the entrance of the premises.
A book, or other form of record shall be kept (a version of which must be in English) in which shall be recorded the date, time and circumstances of any refusal made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. This book or record shall be kept on the premises at all times they are open and made available for inspection forthwith upon demand by any police or community support officer or authorised person. Management shall regularly check the book to ensure all staff are using it.
The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; and b. show an accurate date and time that the images were made.
All CCTV images shall be retained for a period of not less than 21 days in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for speciality software.
The original CCTV images, or a copy , shall be provided to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person within 72 hours of a request being made.

The Premises Licence holder shall draw up and implement a premises specific drugs policy. The policy shall be reviewed as necessary but at least annually. A record shall be kept that a review of the policy has been made.
All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every 6 months and thereafter on: a) the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: i. operation of the "Challenge 25" scheme; ii. types of acceptable ID; iii. method of recording refusals; and iv. likely consequence of making an underage sale. b) refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; c) proxy sales; d) the operation of the CCTV equipment; and e) the drugs policy applicable to the premises. f) in the case of Managers, the effective dispersal of patrons from the premises.
A "Dispersal Policy" will be drawn up and all managers will receive training in the operation of this policy, on induction and every six months thereafter.
