Licence conditions (15)

Alcoholic beverages shall only be sold to customers with food.
There shall be no admittance to the premises after 23:00 hours.
The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a) be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b) make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and facial images of the purchasers of the alcohol; c) Show an accurate date and time that the images were made; d) All images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days and the original CCTV images, or a copy, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person; e) The original, or a copy, of the CCTV images shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software; and f) No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
A staff member from the premises who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises are open to the public. This staff member must be able to show recordings to a Police Officer or authorised council officer immediately upon request.
An incident log book will be maintained by the premises that details incidents of note that occur in the premises. This shall include refused sales, disorder, and ejections as a minimum. The log book shall be kept on the premises and be available for inspection at all times the premises is open and management shall regularly check the book to ensure all staff are using it.
The age verification scheme operated at the premises shall be Challenge
The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. This means that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID.
The only forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: o passport; or o UK photo driving licence.
8.. Notices advertising that the premises operates a "Challenge 25" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance(s)/and inside at the premises bar servery area.
A book, or other form of record, shall be kept in which the date, time and circumstances under which any challenge made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme shall be recorded.
The "challenge book", or other form of record, a version of which must be kept in English, shall be made available for inspection by any police or community support officer or authorised person upon demand.
All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every six months thereafter on. a) the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: i. operation of the "Challenge 25" scheme; ii. types of acceptable ID; iii. method of recording challenges; iv. likely consequence of making an underage sale. b) refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; c) proxy sales; and d) staff shall be provided with 'drug awareness training', and be briefed on the drugs policy applicable to the premises.
Such training shall be recorded a version of which must be kept in English and these records shall, on request, be made available to any police or community support officer or authorised person upon demand.
No-one under the age of 18 years will be served, or permitted to consume, alcohol.
The outdoor seating area shall not be used by customers after 23:00 hours. For the avoidance of doubt this area is outlined in blue on the plan attached as annex 4 of this licence.
