Licence conditions (13)

The admission of children, that is persons under 18 years of age, to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) or by Bexley Council.
All staff employed at the premises to sell alcohol shall receive training, both on induction and also at least once every three months, in the responsible retail of alcohol. Such training shall be recorded and training records shall be made available upon request to any Police Officer, Police Community Support Officer, or authorised person upon demand
The existing electronic till operated refusals system (referred to as Smart Till) shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time, the member of staff who makes the challenge, and any subsequent refusal under which any attempted sale of alcohol has been refused.
At times when the premises operate under the terms of the licence the existing electronic till operated refusals system (referred to as Smart Till) serving the premises shall be maintained fully operational and in good working order. A record of challenges shall be kept for a period of at least 28 days and made available upon the request of any Police Officer, Police Community Support Officer, or authorised person upon demand.
At times when the premises operate under the terms of the licence the CCTV system serving the premises shall: o be maintained fully operational and in good working order; o make and retain clear images of the public area of the premises, including the points of sale of alcohol; o show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made;
All CCTV images shall be retained for a period of not less than 28 days and shall be made available for viewing by any Police Officer, Police Community Support Officer, or authorised person upon demand.
Copies of the CCTV recordings shall be kept in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without need for specialist software.
A "Challenge 21" policy is to be used at the premises at all times. All customers attempting to purchase alcohol who appear to be under the age of 21 shall be required to produce a valid proof of age. Acceptable forms of identification are a proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo, an EU photo full driving licence or a passport. CONDITIONS 1 TO 7 ABOVE WERE IMPOSED BY BEXLEY MAGISTRATES COURT 16 NOVEMBER 2009
Children under the age of 16 years shall not be allowed on the premises beyond 20:00 hours, unless they are eating a meal, when they can remain on the premises until 20:30 hours. Children under 16 years must always be accompanied by an adult who will be required to maintain supervision of them.
Together with for the purposes of paragraph 6(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 all other licensable activities which may be carried out at the premises by virtue of the Justices licence issued under the Licensing Act 1964 and existing as of the date of this licence, which include but may not be limited to the following:
Public entertainment may be provided by the reproduction of wireless (including television) broadcasts or of programme included in any other service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990) other than a sound or television broadcasting service, or public entertainment by way of music and singing only which is provided solely by the reproduction of recorded sound;
ii) Private entertainment, that is to say dancing and music, may be provided and promoted for private gain; and
iii) The provision and consumption of late night refreshment for a period of 30 minutes after the hour permitled for the supply of alcohol.
