Licence conditions (21)

Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
General Conditions Crime and Disorder
All members of staff at the premises will seek PASS accredited proof of age cards, photo-driving licences or passports as proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
The Licensee will display public awareness and crime prevention notices as requested by the Licensing Authority or the police.
The Licensee will display any notices regarding admittance restrictions.
The Licensee/DPS will actively participate in a local Pubwatch/Nightsafe scheme(s) (or similar) where such a scheme operates within the locality of the premises.
The Licensee will ensure that adequate lighting is provided in the car park and at the exit when the premises is open to the public and when they are leaving the premises.
The Licensee will carry out regular checks inside/outside the premises and clear any litter. Public Safety
The Licensee will ensure that all exits and escape routes are clearly identified, free from obstruction and available for immediate use in the event of an emergency during licensable activities.
The Licensee will ensure that an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials are available on the premises.
The Licensee will ensure that the fire safety sign is maintained and clearly displayed.
The Licensee will ensure that the fire equipment is maintained and tested regularly.
The Licensee will ensure that there is adequate lighting and emergency lighting.
The Licensee will ensure that the appropriate public liability insurance is in place. Prevention of Public Nuisance
The Licensee will provide and maintain signage on the premises requesting that patrons leave the area quietly.
The Licensee will ensure that outside lighting provided does not cause a nuisance to nearby residential properties.
The volume of the amplification system shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at any nearby residential property.
During any music event, a responsible person shall be available to monitor the music levels outside the premises and immediately implement any changes necessary; o To ensure noise levels remain non-intrusive at nearby residential properties, o In accordance with any request made by an authorised officer of the Council. Any such changes in noise levels shall be maintained at the reduced level for the period of the music event.
No ‘amplified’ music shall be played outdoors after 23:00 hours in the evening.
All outdoor music events shall be notified in writing to the Environmental Protection Section at Suffolk Coastal District Council at least 14 days prior to the event.
