Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
General - all 4 licensing objectives:
1. The licence holder will to train our staff to the standards required by relevant legislation.
a) The Prevention of Crime and Disorder:
1. The licence holder will liaise with the local licensing police as and when required.
2. No discounts on drinks prices shall be offered that might encourage binge drinking.
3. Our staff are fully conversant with the legal prohibitions on selling alcohol to minors and those who have already consumed too much alcohol.
4. As a restaurant operation we do not experience many of the difficulties encountered by other styles of operation.
b) Public Safety:
1. The licence holder have carried out relevant risk assessments.
2. The licence holder will have a fire certificate.
3. The licence holder will have a maintained emergency lighting system.
4. The licence holder will have an effective fire evacuation procedure.
5. All staff will be trained in relation to all safety issues.
6. There shall be at least one member of staff who has been trained in first aid.
c) The Prevention of Public Nuisance:
1. Where appropriate, windows and doors will be kept closed to prevent noise escape.
2. In residential areas notices will be displayed to encourage customers to leave quietly and have respect for those who live in the area.
3. Where required, managers shall liaise directly with residents in the event of problems being experienced.
4. A tailored ventilation system shall be installed to control the escape of cooking smells.
5. Customers shall not leave the premises with glasses or any other items.
d) The Protection of Children from Harm:
1. Children under the age of 18 shall only be admitted in the company of their parents.
2. There shall be no form of adult entertainment.
3. Proof of age shall be requested in appropriate cases.
4. There shall be a no smoking area.
5. Staff shall be fully conversant with legal prohibitions in relation to the sale of alcohol to under 18s.
Annex 3 - Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority
1. The premises may not be operative after 00.00 until planning consent is granted.
2. (i) Children are allowed on the premises providing no smoking takes place while they are on the premises OR
(ii) Children are allowed on the premises if a no smoking area is provided separated by a closed door from smoking area.
