Film Exhibitions
The admission of children, that is persons under 18 years of age, to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) or by the London Borough of Bexley.
Together with for the purposes of paragraph 6(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 all other licensable activities which may be carried out at the premises by virtue of the justices licence issued under the Licensing Act 1964 and existing as of the date of this licence, which include but may not be limited to the following: i) Public entertainment may be provided by the reproduction of wireless (including television) broadcasts or of programme included in any other service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990) other than a sound or television broadcasting service, or public entertainment by way of music and singing only which is provided solely by the reproduction of recorded sound; ii) Private entertainment, that is to say dancing and music, may be provided and promoted for private gain.
There shall be no new admissions or readmissions to the premises on after 22:30 hours on Friday and Saturday; and a person registered with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) as a door supervisor shall be on Friday and Saturday nights so as to ensure compliance with this condition.
The windows shall remain closed and locked when regulated entertainment is being provided under this licence.
Fire appliances shall be provided, positioned and maintained to the satisfaction of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority
Any entertainment, service, or exhibition involving nudity or sexual stimulation which would come within the definition of a sex establishment in Schedule 3 to the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 as amended by the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1986, (whether or not locally adopted), shall not be provided.
No person shall give at the premises any exhibition, demonstration or performance of hypnotism, mesmerism or any similar act or process which produces or is intended to produce in any other person any form of induced sleep or trance in which susceptibility of the mind of that person to suggestion or direction is increased or intended to be increased. NOTE: This condition does not apply to exhibitions given under the provisions of Section 2(1A) and 5 of the Hypnotism Act 1952.
The licensee shall take all reasonable precautions for the safety of all persons using the premises and, except with the consent of the licensing authority, shall at all material times retain control over all parts of the premises.
No soliciting for custom, including the distribution of leaflets, shall take place from the premises, immediately outside the premises or in the vicinity of the premises. NOTE: This does not prohibit the distribution of leaflets to persons within the premises.
The licensee shall comply with any other statutory enactment relating to the construction and use of the premises or to the provision of entertainment.
Where required by the licensing authority a competent person shall be in charge of the electrical or other installation whilst the public are on the premises.
Entertainment specially presented for children shall not be given without the licensing authorities consent. At least seven days' notice shall be given to the licensing authority of any intention to provide such entertainment. During the whole time that performances are specially presented for children a member of staff shall be stationed in the vicinity of each exit from any level occupied by children provided that on each level the minimum number of staff on duty shall be: Ground floor - 1 member of staff per 100 children or part thereof All other levels - 1 member of staff per 50 children or part thereof.
No poster, advertisement, photograph, sketch, synopsis or programme shall be displayed, sold or supplied anywhere by or on behalf of the licensee which is unsuitable for general exhibition. The use of the premises external areas shall no be permitted after 23:00 hours.
No person under 16 years of age shall be permitted on site (inside or outside of the premises) after 22:00 hours.
An audited proof of age scheme shall be in place.
Minimum age signage shall be displayed on (or adjacent to) any Amusement with Prizes Machines.
All external doors (excepting any that have to be kept locked open for public safety reasons) shall be kept closed when live entertainment is being provided.
