Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
General Conditions All staff shall be trained and shall be aware of the licensing legislation, especially in relation to the prevention of underage sales. Staff will be required to sign a register confirming they have undertaken training and are aware of their responsibilities. Training is repeated at frequent intervals, at least bi-annually. Training records will be maintained and will be available for inspection by an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority, a police officer or Trading Standards Officer. Any member of staff found to be in breach of the Company alcohol policy will be subject to discilinary proceedings. Notices shall be displayed in the premises advising of the licensing legislation. Crime and Disorder The operators of the premises will maintain a good relationship with the local police and other relevant authorities. A comprehensive digital CCTV system will be installed and operated at the premises giving storage of images for a period of not less that 28 days. Images shall be provided on to a removable media to authorised bodies with 48 hours notice if requested. Public Safety Fire safety equipment shall be provided at the premises and staff shall be trained on the use of this equipment Prevention of Public Nuisance Protection of children from harm If anyone attempting to purchase alcohol appears to be under 25 the on duty manager will be called. The manager will only accept photographic ID as proof of age (passport, photo driving licence or PASS card). If no ID is provided no sale will take place.
