Licence conditions (16)

Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
General Conditions
The Licensee will ensure that the Trustees of the LTAA have agreed any hiring of the licensed premises.
The premises will be managed in accordance with club rules. Crime and Disorder
The Licensee will ensure that at all times when the premises is open for any licensable activity there are sufficient competent staff on duty for the purpose of fulfilling the terms and conditions of the licence and for preventing crime and disorder.
The Licensee will ensure that all staff receive full training. Public Safety
The Licensee will ensure that an adequate and valid public liability insurance is in place and that a copy of the schedule is available for inspection by an authorised officer on request.
The Licensee will ensure that will ensure that regular health & safety meetings are held and regular risk assessments undetaken, and appropriate steps are taken to minimise any problem identified. Prevention of Public Nuisance
The Licensee and trustees will comply with any requirement relating to noise abatement, food & safety issues, etc requested by the District Council or Responsible Authorities.
The volume of any amplification system used in connection with any description of regulated entertainment held indoors or outdoors shall be controlled such that it is non-intrusive at the boundary of any nearby residential property.
After 22:00 hours the external doors and windows to those parts of the premises used for the provision of regulated entertainment shall be kept closed, other than for routine access and egress, when there are performances of live music indoors and when recorded music from a disco or karaoke is being played indoors.
A responsible person, being a member of the Trustees of the Leiston Town Athletic Association, shall assess the noise level arising from any event comprising the playing of live or recorded amplified music from the boundaries of nearby residential properties. Such an assessment shall be made at least twice over the course of the event and the volume of the amplification system shall be reduced if the volume is considered to be too loud by the responsible person. A record of such assessments and any request to reduce the volume shall be kept at the premises and be made available to an Authorised Officer from the Licensing Authority upon request.
There shall be no use of any outdoor area for any licensable activity or for the consumption of alcohol after 23:30 hours. Protection of children from harm
The Licensee will comply with company policy entitled "Working with Children" and will ensure that the child protection policy as outlined in the Safer Activities for Everyone (SAFE) initiative is adhered to at all times.
The Licensee will ensure that any person appearing to be under 18 years of age will be asked for suitable ID (passport, driving licence, birth certificate or PASS card) when attempting to purchase alcohol, and the sale will be refused if suitable ID is not shown.
