Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions
LA03, Section 19: Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol(1) Where a premises licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions. (2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
General description of premises:· Ground floor restaurant at Centurion House, 136-142 London Road, St Albans, Herts AL1 1SA. The ground floor will include an area for diners to wait and order meals and drinks and an area for dining. There will also be the kitchen area for preparation and cooking.Recorded music:· Indoors· Low background music suitable for a sophisticated restaurantGeneral - all 4 licensing objectives:· The good reputation of the restaurant depends on a peaceful crime free premises which is safe both from the hazards and rowdyism for the whole family to dine. This is aided by it being a family run business all of whom are experienced and vigilant.· Occupancy figure: 80The prevention of crime and disorder:· We have good relations with the police who advise on crime prevention. It is intended that the police have a direct telephone number for the directors of the premises, and the premises will be fitted with CCTV cameras both externally and internally at the front and rear. Public safety:· Two of the staff and family members have health and safety certificates from the HSE in food hygiene.· The building works being carried out in accordance with a plan that is agreeable to [Fire] Authority.· The premises being subject to an inspection prior to opening to ensure that the passive and active fire precautions within the premises are functional and as per the plan.· Relevant certificates being provided as necessary.· The premises obtaining approval from a Building Control Authority in the form of a completion certificateThe prevention of public nuisance:· Similar to above, with added vigilance. The protection of children from harm:· An awareness that all the public have to be protected from harm, but that young children need greater protection. This is not a restaurant that will attract children unless accompanied by their parents.
