Live Music: • Indoors only. Live (Acoustic/Amplified) music and amplified voice. Recorded Music: • Indoors only. Recorded Music, including juke box and karaoke, with or without a DJ, during normal business, and including audience participation. • When opening hours are extended on Bank Holidays and "Event Days", these hours follow the opening hours. Anything of a Similar Description to live music, recorded music or performances of dance: • Indoors only. Additional Steps Taken in Order to Promote the Four Licensing Objectives: General – all four licensing objectives: • The types of regulated entertainments proposed re-instate and then enhance the normal pub entertainments that were previously unregulated, with the benefit to enhance the local facilities for social entertainment and reduce the focus on alcohol. • Staff will be trained on the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 when they are recruited and given training in "drugs awareness" as part of their induction. • No new steps have been identified by risk assessment in relation to the four
Annex 3 – Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority The Prevention of Crime & Disorder: • Active representation and participation at Pubwatch. The Prevention of Public Nuisance: • No external speakers to be allowed in the garden area. • No music to be played or transmitted to the outside area. • All doors and windows (on the facade(s) of the building) which is the subject of this consent, shall be kept closed at all times during the entertainment events, except when access is required to/from the premises. • All windows and doors to be closed after 23.00 hours except for egress and ingress. • Amplified recorded music to end at 23.30 hours on Sunday to Thursday and 00.00 hours in Friday and Saturday except for New Years Eve and Day. The final hour to be wind down background music to create a mood change. • A Notice will be placed prominently at the exits asking customers to leave quietly • The garden will be closed at or before 22.00. • The License holder or anyone involved in the organisation of entertainment (including those controlling the volume of music) shall ensure that any noise emanating form the premises is such as not to cause or disturbance to residents in the locality. • Admission to all parts of the licensed areas shall be given at all reasonable times, either during or other than during an event, to authorised officers of the Council, even without prior notice. • DPS's contact telephone number to be made available to the residents. • Live Music only to be played at the front of the premises. The Protection of Children from Harm: • All Children to have left the premises by 21.00 hours • No Children to be on premises during film nights and race nights.
