Licence conditions (19)

Conditions carried over from:
Licensing Act 1964 (Justices 'on' Licence with Special Hours Certificate);
a) A Public Entertainment Licence is in force as respects the premises, and
b) The premises are structually adapted and bona fide/intended to be used for the purpose of providing for persons resorting to the premises music and dancing and substantial refreshment to which the sale of intoxicating liquor is ancillary;
And Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 (Public Entertainment Licence):
LICENSING OF PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT
The local Council under the provisions of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982:
Public MUSIC AND DANCING AND PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT OF THE LIKE KIND on weekdays between the hours of 12.00hrs and 00.00hrs. MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT ONLY on Sundays between the hours of 16.30hrs and 22.00hrs.
This Licence is subject to the provisions of the said Act, to the Regulations and Conditions now or from time to time made by the local Council and to any Additional Conditions included on this Licence.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS
1) The electrical installation shall be inspected at least once in every five years, or such lesser period as is considered appropriate to the individual case, by a competent electrical engineer appointed by or on behalf of the licensee of the premises and a certificate stating the condition of the installation shall after each inspection, be forwarded to the Council by or on behalf of the licensee of the premises.
2) The number of persons (excluding staff and attendants) to be allowed at any one time in the licensed premises shall not exceed: 80
3) Events are to be held on a maximum of two days in any one week.
4) The playing of musical instruments by performers shall not take place between 23:00 and 07:00 hours without the prior written approval of the Council.
5) The licence holder or anyone involved in the organisation of entertainments (including those controlling the volume of music) shall ensure that any noise emanating from the premises is such as not to cause annoyance or disturbance to residents in the locality.
6) All doors and windows of the building, which is the subject of this consent, shall be kept closed at all times during the entertainment events, except when access is required to/from the premises.
7) No external loudspeaker systems shall be installed without the prior approval in writing of the Environment and Health Department.
