CCTV shall be installed on the premises showing correct date and time information.
The CCTV will cover internal public areas, the garden, smoking area and the entrance doorway. The CCTV shall provide images of good quality in all lighting conditions and shall capture frontal images of people entering the premises. The premises licence holder must ensure the CCTV is in good order and regularly maintained and that staff are able to make copies available at the request of the Police or other authorised licensing authority on request. CCTV footage must be retained for a minimum of 31 days.
The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure the CCTV recording system is checked daily to ensure it is operating correctly, any faults are to be recorded in a logbook with the date and time an engineer has been called to repair the fault and to also record the immediate notification of the fault to the premises licence holder by staff.
The logbook shall be available to inspection by a police officer or a responsible officer.
The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure that when an event takes place, or there is live or recorded music (other than background music) and on New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve, a risk assessment shall be completed to decide if additional measures are required to promote the licensing objectives.
Given the proximity of a few residential properties we will be hanging clear and prominent signage at the exits requesting patrons to leave the premises quietly and show. respect to our neighbours.
The business will conduct itself in a manner that minimises any potential disturbance to the surrounding community and neighbours.
Residents will be spoken to on a regular basis and any concerns from residents will be dealt with swiftly.
Sufficient soundproofing is in place from doors and windows, as well as the insulation installed in the ceiling. Music will not be played at a disruptive level.
The immediate vicinity of the premises is kept clean and free of litter by conducting regular litter patrols throughout opening hours as part of our daily cleaning rota.
Signage will be placed outside the premises discouraging patrons from loitering or gathering directly in front of the premises. "The path needs to be kept clear." Staff will be instructed to monitor the outside area and to ask patrons to move on if they congregate.
Staff training shall be undertaken on staff appointment and updated every 6 months.
Training delivered to staff shall be recorded. Training shall cover: • The licensing objectives • The requirements for ID as part of age verification. • On how to identify signs of intoxication and how to manage such situations appropriately. • Customers who appear vulnerable due to intoxication, we will offer assistance in arranging safe transportation home. • Dealing with a drug related incident. • Dealing with disorderly incidents/disorderly persons • Recording of any refusal to sell alcohol. • Recording of incidents • Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults • Reporting of incidents to police and information to be shared with police to promote • All training records will be available to an authorised officer on request.
An incident log shall be maintained on the premises documenting the date and time of any incidents involving the premises which could undermine the four licensing objectives. This shall be completed within 24 hours of the incident, be available upon request of a police officer or an authorised officer and will record the following: • All crimes reported at the venue. • Any incidents of disorder • Persons banned from the premises.
There shall be a record of any refused sale of alcohol. The refusal register shall be inspected on a regular basis (at least weekly) by the DPS.
The Premises Licence Holder shall adopt a 'Challenge 25' policy on the premises, with signage clearly displayed to the public.
