General Conditions
The Licensee will ensure that adequate public liability insurance is maintained. Crime and Disorder
The Licensee will ensure that all staff members seek credible evidence of age (e.g. driving licence, PASS card) from any individual who appears to be under the age of twenty-one attempting to purchase alcohol. The Licensee will refuse service if proof of age is not provided.
The Licensee will refuse sale of alcohol to any person appearing to be heavily under the influence of alcohol. Public Safety
The Licensee will ensure that all fire prevention equipment is regularly tested and maintained in good working order.
The Licensee will ensure that a safe and healthy environment is maintained. Prevention of Public Nuisance
Events comprising the performance of amplified live music and the playing of amplified recorded music shall be restricted to no more than 10 occasions in any one calendar year.
At all times when there are performances of amplified live music and amplified recorded music is being played, all doors and windows to the main hall shall be kept closed, the entrance doors off High Street shall be kept closed, and the kitchen window and external door off Station Approach shall be kept closed, other than for access and egress to the main hall.
The volume of the amplification system used in connection with any description of regulated entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that it is non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential property.
The Licensee will ensure that a notice is displayed and maintained requesting customers to dispose of any rubbish responsibly by using the litter bins provided.
The Licensee will ensure that litter is regularly collected and disposed of in appropriate waste receptacles.
The Licensee will provide and maintain signage on the premises requesting that patrons leave the area quietly.
The Licensee will carry out regular checks inside/outside the premises and clear any litter when the premises is in use. Protection of children from harm
The Licensee will ensure that a Child Protection Policy is provided and maintained.
The Licensee will ensure that on the rare occasion when an event has an adult content, such as a film or play, suitable warning will be given on all publicity material and access will be restricted to children appropriately.
