Licence conditions (28)

General Conditions
The Licensee shall provide training and supervision of all staff.
Up to 60 minutes ‘wind down’ period after all licensable activities cease (other than late night refreshment) before the premises are closed to non-residents Crime and Disorder
The Licensee, that is the person in whose name the premises Licence is issued, shall ensure that at all times when the premises are open for any licensable activity, there are sufficient, competent staff on duty at the premises for the purpose of fulfilling the terms and conditions of the Licence and for preventing crime and disorder and an adequate number of staff will supervise patrons exit from the premises during the hour before closing.
All members of staff at the premises shall seek ‘credible photographic proof of age evidence’ form any person who appears to be under the age of 18 years and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
A suitably worded sign of sufficient size and clarity must be displayed at the point of entry to the premises and in a suitable location at any points of sale, advising customers that they may be asked to produce evidence of their age.
A conspicuous notice must be displayed on or immediately outside the premises, or which is immediately adjacent to the premises, which gives details of any restrictions relating to the admission of children to the premises.
The Licensee shall not advertise, promote, sell or supply alcoholic drinks in such a way that is intended or likely to encourage persons to consume alcohol to an excessive amount. Public Safety
When obviously physically disabled people are present, adequate arrangements must exist to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
All escape routes and exits must be kept unobstructed, in good order, free of trip hazards and clearly identified.
All exit doors whenever the premises are occupied. Must be able to be easily opened in the case of an emergency, without use of a key, card, code or similar means.
All exit doors must be regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily.
All removable security fastenings must be removed whenever the premises are open to the public or occupied by staff.
Fire fighting equipment must be provided in the licensed premises in accordance with the risk assessment with staff suitably trained as necessary.
Curtains, hangings and temporary decorations must be arranged so as not to obstruct exits, fire safety signs, or fire fighting equipment.
In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public must be in operation when they are present.
No alterations must be made to the premises which make it impossible to comply with an existing licence condition without first seeking a variation of the premises licence proposing the deletion of the condition in question. The applicant will need to propose a new operating schedule reflecting the proposed alteration to the premises and how he or she intends to take alternative steps to promote the public safety objective and amend the risk assessment accordingly.
A responsible person where there is an outbreak of fire must raise the alarm, evacuate the building, and call the fire brigade. Following the incident, a responsible person must ensure that the details are recorded in a Fire Log Book. Any remedial work necessary to restore fire precautions to the original standard musty be completed with systems fully functional prior to re-admittance of the public. Prevention of Public Nuisance
Internal and external lighting provided for the purpose of customer and staff safety and for security of the premises must be so positioned to not cause a nuisance to neighbouring or adjoining properties.
Premises must remove their waste and refuse in a timely manner to a licensed waste disposal facility.
There must be clear and legible notices displayed at exits and other circulatory areas requesting patrons to leave the premises having regard to the needs of local residents, in particular emphasising the need to refrain from shouting and slamming car doors. The sounding of car horns must also be discouraged and patrons exiting the premises supervised during the hour before closing.
Suitable ventilation and extraction systems must be provided to eliminate noxious odours. Such systems must be maintained on a regular basis.
Premises must enter into a waste removal agreement with a licensed waste disposal contractor and keep documented evidence of the agreement.
Empty bottles must be stored in a skip within the curtilage of the premises prior to collection. Operationally bottles must be removed from the public area on a frequent basis and transferred to the skip. In order to minimise noise disturbance to adjoining properties, transfer to the external skip should not be undertaken after 23.00.
The performance of a play outdoors, the performance of live music outdoors and the provision of late night refreshment outdoors shall take place on no more than 10 occasions in any one calendar year. On such occasions the regulated entertainment will finish no later than 23:00 hours and the provision of late night refreshment will not extend beyond 00:00 hours.
All external doors and windows to those parts of the premises used for the provision of regulated entertainment shall be kept closed after 23:00 hours; other than for access and egress, at times when regulated entertainment is taking place.
The volume of the amplification system used for any form of regulated entertainment shall be controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties. Protection of children from harm
