The CCTV system shall continually record whilst the premises is open for licensable activities and during all times when customers remain on the premises.
All recordings shall be stored for a minimum period of 31 days with date and time stamping.
Viewing of recordings shall be made available upon the request of Police or authorised council officer as soon as possible.
A staff member from the premises who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises are open. This staff member must be able to provide a Police or authorised council officer copies of recent CCTV images or data with the absolute minimum of delay when requested.
Notices shall be prominently displayed advising patrons, CCTV is in operation within the premises.
No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
Notices advertising that the premises operates a "Challenge 25" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the retail premises entrance(s)/and inside at the premises bar servery area. A book or other form of record, a version of which must be in English, shall be kept in which shall be completed within 24 hours of the incident and record the date, time and circumstances of a) any challenge made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. b) any disorder, ejection or other relevant incident that occurs on the premises. c) all crimes reported to the venue. d) any complaints received concerning crime and disorder. e) all seizures of drugs or offensive weapons f) any faults in the CCTV system g) any visit by a relevant authority or emergency service. This book, or record, shall be kept on the premises at all times they are open and shall be made available for inspection immediately upon demand by any police or community support officer or authorised person. The Designated Premises Supervisor shall check the book at least once a month to ensure all staff are using it correctly and shall sign and date it immediately after the latest entry.
All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every 6 months thereafter on: a) the terms, conditions and restrictions of the Premises Licence; b) the prevention of unlawful sales of alcohol, and the likely consequence of making an unlawful sale, which shall include: c) the operation of the 'Challenge 25' scheme; d) types of acceptable ID; e) the method of recording challenges; f) refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk, and g) preventing proxy sales. Such training shall be recorded, a version of which must be kept in English, and these records shall, on request, be made available to any police or community support officer or authorised person immediately upon demand.
Staff will promptly clear the external dining spaces on the public highway of glassware that is no longer needed and any smoking litter.
