EC0101 - Credit Sales (from original Justices Licence)
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied:
(a) with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, is consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal;
(b) for consumption by a person residing in the premises or his guest and paid for together with his accommodation;
(c) to a canteen or mess.
EC0104 - Regulated Entertainment - (from original Justices Licence)
Unless otherwise specified on this licence no regulated entertainment shall take place at the premises with the exception of pre-booked private events limited to the provision of music and dancing for pre-invited guests.
General Staff training All persons who sell or supply alcohol to customers will have licensing training.
Training will take place within six weeks of employment.
Any new employees will be supervised until the training has taken place.
Refresher training will be repeated a minimum of every six months or earlier if required due to changes of legislation.
Training records will be kept on the premises and shall contain the nature, content and frequency of all training.
Records will be made available for inspection by police, police licensing officer and authorised officers from the Council on reasonable request either electronically or in hard copy. Prevention of crime and disorder CCTV CCTV will be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition.
Cameras shall record all ingress and egress to the premises, fire exits and all areas where the sale and supply of alcohol occurs.
Equipment will be maintained in good working order, with recordings correctly time and date stamped. Recordings MUST be kept in date order, kept for a period of 31 days and handed to police and authorised officers on reasonable request.
The premises licence holder will always ensure a DPS or appointed member of staff are on the premises and are capable and competent at downloading CCTV footage in a recordable format to the police and local authority on reasonable request.
The recording equipment and discs/tapes shall be kept in a secure environment under the control of the DPS or other responsible named individual.
In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment the premises licence holder or DPS must report the failure to the police licensing officer immediately. Incident recording The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure that an incident report register is keep kept at the premises in a written or electronic format, in which full details of all incidents are recorded. This shall be completed as soon as possible and, in any case, no later than the close of business on the day of the incident. The time and date when the report was completed, and by whom, is to form part of the entry. The register shall be always kept on the premises and shall be produced to an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority or the Police on request. Public nuisance Notices The premises shall display notices at the exit reminding customers to leave quietly and be respectful of nearby residents. The protection of children from harm Challenge 25 The Licensee shall adopt a "Challenge 25" policy, where all customers who appear to be under the age of 25 and attempt to purchase alcohol or other age-restricted products, shall be asked for proof of their age. The Licensee shall prominently display notices advising customers of the challenge 25 policy.
