Alcohol shall only be sold to and consumed by persons taking a substantial table meal or persons waiting to be seated prior to taking a substantial table meal.
No alcohol shall be supplied to customers ordering a take away meal from the premises.
Alcohol shall not be supplied to persons who are under the age of 18.
Staff shall receive regular training on the proof of age scheme, and the prevention of underage sales of alcohol. Such training shall take place not less than twice per year and shall be recorded. These training records shall be made available immediately on request to the Police, Community Support Officer or authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
Signage shall be prominently displayed at the exit to the premises reminding customers to leave quietly and with respect to local residents.
The premises shall operate in accordance with the ?Challenge 21? scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years and over, anyone who appears under 25 years of age will be asked for ID
Notices advertising that the premises operates a ?Challenge 21? scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance and inside the premises. In addition, signs shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position, both inside and outside of the premises, warning adults it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age.
The only acceptable forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport; c. UK photo driving licence; or d. other ID with the prior written approval of the Licensing Authority.
