On 14 September 2005 at 1620 the Licensing Sub-Committee resolved that:
The application as amended be granted on the following basis.
That with regard to the 12 occasions per year when an extension is requested at least seven days notice be given of each application to the Local Authority and the Police - the Local Authority to advise the appropriate ward councillors.
The applicant agreed : not to place any furniture on the adjacent footpath; not to increase the number of benches in front of the public house and, where practicable, secure the existing four benches at both ends; to repair the gate and wall to the beer garden; to clear any mess, glass and cigarettes promptly from around the area and immediate foreshore; to investigate the possible installation of CCTV outside the premises and reduce the light pollution around the area; to monitor the number of people using the premises to avoid over crowding.
