Licence conditions (9)

Restricted hours of sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises and limited times for alcohol to be consumed external to the premises, with monitoring of noise and disturbance outside regularly undertaken by bar staff and duty managers.
Access to the bar after 22.00 will be to ticket holders only.
No glass to be used externally for the consumption of alcohol Refusals / incident books The premises licence holder shall ensure that a refusals (and ID checked) book or log is maintained at the premises. These records shall be retained for a minimum of 1 year and be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities upon request.
Training The premises licence holder shall ensure that a training package is in place in order for all staff involved with the sale or supply of alcohol to be sufficiently trained in licensing matters proportionate to their role and be aware of their responsibilities. This training shall include the refusal of service to drunks, proxy sales and age verification. Records shall be kept of this training, dated and signed by the staff member and trainer. Refresher training shall be completed at least every 6 months with documented records made and available for inspection from Police and other relevant responsible authorities.
Written authorisation to sell alcohol A written record shall be retained at the premises to show the staff that have been authorised to sell alcohol. This shall be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities on request.
Consumption on the premises The premises licence holder shall ensure that all alcohol purchased as part of the 'on licence' shall be consumed on the premises or premises garden.
Bar staff and duty managers responsible for external crowd control, controlled number of people externally in order to ensure the tables and chairs are being used and people are not spilling out into the street.
Bar staff and duty managers will closely monitor the noise level externally - as part of the evening duties the decibel level outside is monitored already, this will continue to be done and people will be asked to return inside if the noise is beginning to become excessive.
Challenge 25 The premises licence holder shall ensure that a system is in place to ensure that every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises, shall produce acceptable means of identification and age confirmation. Acceptable identification shall be a passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID . If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made to or for that person.
