Licence conditions (42)
- Noise emitted from the premises when assessed 1-2 metres from the façade of any noise sensitive use shall not exceed an equivalent continuous sound pressure level (LAeq) of 48 dBA in any one hour period between the hours of 7.00am and 11.00pm and LAeq of 45 dBA in any five minute period between the hours of 11.00pm and 7.00am when measured and rated in accordance with BS 7445, Parts 1, 2 and 3. CONDITION REPLACED BY MINOR VARIATION TO PREMISES LICENCE ON 28 FEBRUARY 2014 TO:-
- Between 2300 hours and 0330 hours - Noise emanating from the premises shall not be heard above background levels 1 metre from the façade of the nearest residential property.
- All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency. CONDITION REPLACED BY MINOR VARIATION TO PREMISES LICENCE ON 28 FEBRUARY 2014 TO:-
- All entrance doors to the premises shall be fitted with automatic self-closers and maintained in a sound condition. The Premises Licence Holder or nominated person shall ensure that the self-closing doors serving the smoking shelter are not wedged open during regulated entertainment.
- There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public notices pointing out the needs of local residents and the need to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note: this may also include reference to vehicles.)
- The placing of bottles into receptacles outside the premises is not permitted to take place after/between the hours of 2000 and 0800 to minimise disturbance to nearby properties.
- No refuse shall be disposed of from the premises into a receptacle where such disposal is likely to cause a disturbance to residents in the area of the premises at any time between 8.00 pm and 8.00 am on any day except Sunday when no such disposal shall take place before 10.00 am.
- Any gas boiler, calorifier or other gas appliances will be tested at least every 12 months by CORGI authorised workmen and subsequent satisfactory and valid inspection report to be available on site for inspection by an authorised officer of the authority.
- PS2 - Electrical Installation Testing The electrical installation shall be inspected and tested at intervals specified by a competent person. A satisfactory and valid inspection report shall be available on site for inspection by an officer of the authority.
- PS4 - RCD Each socket outlet circuit or individual socket outlets used for public entertainment shall be protected by an integral residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA (0.03 amps). Every such circuit and residual current device shall be inspected and tested at intervals specified by a competent person. A satisfactory and valid inspection report shall be available on site for inspection by an authorised officer of the authority.
- PS5 - Licensee Safety Inspection Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by the licence an inspection shall be carried out by the licence holder to ensure that the premises are safe for use.
- PS6 - First Aid There shall be maintained on the premises at all times an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials for the use of customers.

- A minimum of Six x SIA Door Supervisors will be actively employed at the premises from Midnight until 30 minutes after close of premises or until all customers have dispersed from the premises, on all days/dates when Non-standard timings are applicable, namely Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, May Day and any other Bank or Public Holiday falls on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Also on the occasion when the clocks move forward to British Summertime when the terminal hour will be 0400hours and close 0430 hours.
- Staff training to be provided to all members of staff employed at the premises in respect of maintaining incident reports and an incident register, challenge25, Customer identification checks and methods. Records to be kept of staff training. (Such training will allow any member of staff or door staff to record incidents directly linked to the licensing objectives involving violence and anti-social behaviour, as well as any customers being asked to leave or refused entry to your premises).
- CCTV system installed and in operation 24 hours/7 days a week, covering all internal public areas including front entrance/exit doors and the rear external smoking area, to record and retain images for minimum of 28 days. Images must be supplied to any responsible authority on request e.g., Police, Fire Service or Local Authority.
- SIA Door Supervisor to be actively employed at the premises from 2000hours on days when premises are open after Midnight. There shall be provided at the premises door supervisors to such a number, as the management of the premises consider and agree with the local police, are sufficient to control the entry and exit of persons to/from the premises and for the keeping of order in the premises when they are used for a licensable activity.
- SIA Door supervisors to wear high visibility clothing and display their SIA badge. A record/log book shall be kept on the premises by the Designated Premises Supervisor of every person employed on the premises as a door supervisor. The record shall be retained for a period of 12 months from date of completion and contain the following details:- a) the door supervisor’s name; b) his/her Security Industry Authority licence number; c) the time and date he/she commenced and concluded their duty; d) the door supervisors shall sign each entry; and e) the Designated Premises Supervisor or other authorised person shall also review each entry as having checked the authenticity of the individual door supervisor.
- Posters/Signage to be displayed in a prominent position at all premises exit points requesting customers leave the premises in a quiet and orderly manner therefore reducing noise and nuisance.
- An incident book shall be kept at the premise in which details of crime and/or disorder relating to the premises shall be recorded. The incident book shall contain the following details: a) time, date and location of incident. b) nature of the incident. c) action taken. d) each session signed the DPS or other responsible person employed at the premise. The incident book shall be made available to police upon request. Each entry shall be retained for a period of 12 months from date of completion.
- There shall be in place the following for the Premises: Drugs Policy Door Supervisor Policy Search Policy Dispersal Policy and these policies shall be made available for inspection by a police licensing officer or any person authorised by the licensing authority.

- A tamper proof CCTV shall be in use at the premises at all times when the venue is operating. This CCTV system shall be used and maintained in conjunction with the manufacturer’s instructions and the guidelines as set down by the Information Commissioner’s Office.
- CCTV images shall be retained for a period of at least 28 days and those images shall be made available upon request by an officer of the responsible authorities.
- An age verification scheme, such as 'Challenge 25' shall be in operation at all times when the sale of alcohol is taking place. A notice displaying such a scheme is in operation shall be displayed at the point of sale.
- Staff shall receive suitable training in matters relevant to the licensing objectives and a copy of the training records shall be kept up to date and maintained by the licensee.
- No person under the age of 18 shall be allowed in the licensed area of the premises unless accompanied by an adult.
- No person under the age of 18 shall be allowed in the licensed area of the premises at any time after 2200.
- A minimum of 3 SIA registered door staff shall be on duty Friday and Saturday and every Sunday preceding a bank holiday at all times when the premises is operating licensable activity between the hours of 2330 until 30 minutes after closing.
- A minimum of 2 SIA registered door staff shall be on duty on any occasion when the premises is operating licensable activity beyond midnight Sunday - Thursday
- A suitable risk assessment shall be made by the licensee to increase the number of SIA registered door staff when operating under any event or during peak dates such as national holidays.
- A dispersal policy shall be written for the venue by the licensee and made available upon request to a member of the responsible authorities. SIA registered door staff shall be responsible for ensuring the operation of the dispersal policy.
- A drugs misuse policy shall be written for the venue by the licensee and made available upon request to a member of the responsible authorities.
- All open bottles and glassware used inside the venue shall not be allowed to be removed from the venue by any customer at any time.
