Staff Training:
Staff will be trained with regard to their responsibilities in the retail sale of alcohol and regular refresher training (every 6 months) will also be undertaken. Training records can be made available for inspection within 24 hours upon request by the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible authority.
Refusal Log:
An electronic refusal log will be operated and maintained and will be produced to a relevant officer of the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible authority upon immediate request.
A till prompt system will be in operation at the store and used for the refusal of all age restricted products.
Spirits will be located behind the counter.
The premises shall have sufficient cameras located within the premises to cover all public areas.
CCTV warning signs to be fitted in public places.
The CCTV system must be operating at all times whilst the premises are open for licensable activity. All equipment shall have a constant and accurate time and date generation.
The recording system will be able to capture a minimum of 4 frames per second and all recorded footage must be securely retained for a minimum of 31 days.
Records must be made and kept for inspection to show that the system is functioning correctly and that data is being securely retained. This can be made available upon request from Martin McColl Limited's head office by email.
The DPS or premises manager must be able to demonstrate that the CCTV system has measures to prevent recordings being tampered with, i.e. password protected.
In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment the Premises Licence holder/DPS MUST report the failure to the Hampshire Eastern Police Licensing Unit licensing@hampshire.pnn.police.uk <mailto:licensing@hampshire.pnn.police.uk> within 24 hours, and arrangements made to repair the fault without delay.
CCTV shall cover the full licensable area.
Upon request, members of staff shall allow the CCTV footage to be viewed by any Responsible Authority. However, if footage is required to be downloaded, this will be made available within 24 hours or sooner, if required, from Martin McColl Limited's head office by email.
Challenge 25 policy will be operated at the premises; forms of identification that will be accepted are a valid passport, photo card driving licence, PASS accredited identification card, 'Biometric Resident Permit, a national ID issued by an EU country, Ministry of Defence "Form 90" identification cards The Licence holder shall display prominent signage confirming the company's Challenge 25 policy.
