Licence conditions (11)

Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
General - all four licensing objectives (b,c,d,e) b) The prevention of crime and disorder
The Trustees will ensure that they develop a close liaison with the police, fire service and other statutory organisations.2. The Trustees will ensure that all measures agreed with the police in relation to the prevention of crime and disorder will be implemented and subject to regular review. 3. The Trustees will ensure that the bar area is properly managed at all times by either a bar manager or fully trained member(s) of staff.4. The Trustees will ensure that excessive ordering of alcohol is not allowed.5. The Trustees will ensure that all members of staff at the premises will seek 'credible' photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.6. The Trustees will ensure that a membership system will be operated and those making a booking for public attendance will complete a booking form.7. The Trustees will ensure that the premises is adequately supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst the premises is used for private functions to the general public. 8.The Trustees will ensure that plastic glasses are used for drinks to be consumed in the Outside Social Area. c) Public Safety
The Trustees will ensure that all measures agreed with the fire service in relation to fire safety will be implemented and subject to regular review.2 The Licensee will ensure that an adequate and valid public liability insurance is in force and that a copy of the schedule is available for inspection by an authorised officer on request3. The Trustees will ensure that the Bar Manager will complete a basic first aid course.4. The Trustees will ensure that an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials are available on the premises.5. The Trustees will ensure that the premises is adequately supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst the premises is used for private functions to the general public.6. The Trustees will ensure that telephone communication will be available for emergencies at the premises.7. The Trustees will ensure that regular fire drills are carried out for staff.8. The Trustees will ensure that all staff undergo fire safety training and understand what actions are to be taken in an emergency.9. The Trustees will ensure that the premises has sufficient fire exits, fire detection/alarms systems, emergency lighting and fire equipment installed.10. The Trustees will ensure that they comply with the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Fire Risk Assessment Tool Kit.11. The Trustees will ensure that no portable heating devises are used within the premises.12. The Trustees will ensure that any outdoor event will be conducted in accordance with HSE guidance. d) The prevention of public nuisance
The Volume of any amplification system used in connection with any description of regulated entertainment held indoors or outdoors shall be controlled such that it is non intrusive at the boundary of any nearby residential property.2. All external doors and windows to those parts of the premises used for the provision of regulated entertainment shall be kept closed, other than for routine access and egress, when there is amplification of music or speech in connection with any description of regulated entertainment.
The supply and consumption of alcohol outdoors shall only take place in connection with the ten outdoor events per calendar year permitted by the Premises Licence.4. The Trustees will ensure that any use of generators used in connection with outdoor events will cease by 23:00 on weekdays and Saturdays. On Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays by 22:00, and 00:30 on New Years Eve. 5. The Trustees will ensure that any litter and debris caused through outdoor events will be cleared.
The consumption of alcohol shall not be permitted within the Outside Social Area after: 22:30 hours Sundays and Bank Holidays, 23:00 hours Mondays to Thursdays, and 23:30 Hours Fridays, Saturdays and New Years Eve.
No alcohol will be sold or supplied outside of the building other than during the permitted ten outdoor events per calendar year. e) The protection of children from harm
The Trustees will ensure that any person under the age of 18 will be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst they are in the downstairs social area when the bar is open. 2.The Trustees will ensure that any person under the age of 18 will not be permitted to use the area immediately in front of the bar area, approximately 1 metre, in the downstairs social area when the bar is open.3 The Trustees will ensure that no person under the age of 18 will be permitted to play the AWP machine at any time.4. The Trustees will ensure that all members of staff at the premises will seek 'credible' photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
