CCTV system shall be maintained operational. There shall be 4 cameras within the store. Signage shall be displayed indicating that alcohol will not be sold to children. Staff shall request ID evidence of anyone who appears to be under 21 yrs. Signs shall be displayed identifying all exits.
The Premises Licence Holder / Designated Premises Supervisor shall re-take the National Certificate Level 2, within 31 days of 27th February 2007. All new staff shall undertake appropriate training to a minimum of Level 1 standard prior to commencing employment. CCTV shall be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions, particularly facial recognition. Cameras shall encompass all ingress and egress to the premises and all areas where the sale / supply of alcohol also occurs. Equipment shall be maintained in good working order, correctly time and date stamped. Recordings shall be kept in date order, numbered sequentially and kept for a period of 31 days and handed to the Merseyside Police on request. The recording equipment and tapes / disks shall be kept in a secure environment, under the control of the Designated Premises Supervisor or responsible named individual. Appropriate signage of the above to be placed in conspicuous positions. The Knock Back proof of age scheme and/or any successor schemes run by Sefton Council’s Trading Standards Department shall be promoted at the premises.
