General Conditions
The Licensee will ensure that adequate health & safety training is provided for all staff on the promises.
The Licensee will ensure that specific risk assessments are written for all events that take place on the premises Crime and Disorder
The Licensee will ensure that all events will be adequately staffed and monitored by English Heritage staff. Public Safety
The Licensee will ensure that at least one qualified first aider will be on duty during all events, and that where the need arises (i.e. during battle re-enactments) additional first aid cover will be provided via St John’s Ambulance Service or the Red Cross. Prevention of Public Nuisance
The number of occasions during which there are performances of any description of regulated entertainment outdoors shall not exceed 40 in any one calendar year.
On those occasions when there are performances of any description of regulated entertainment outdoors, the performance shall finish no later than 23:00 hours.
The provision of late night refreshment outdoors shall be restricted to no more than 10 occasions in any one calendar year.
The volume of the amplification system used for any form of regulated entertainment shall be controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
All external doors and windows to those parts of the premises used for the provision of regulated entertainment indoors shall be kept closed after 23:00 hours, except for access and egress, at times when regulated entertainment is taking place. Protection of children from harm
The Licensee will ensure that all children must be accompanied at all times by an adult while they are on the premises.
The Licensee will ensure that hirers of the hall state on the hiring contract form the type of activities they intend to carry out during the period of hire. In addition the Licensee will ensure that the premises will not be hired out to any person/body/club for any use which may give rise to concern in respect of children.
