Licence conditions (13)

Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
The licence holder will always ensure when the premises are open for any licensable activity, there are sufficient competent staff on duty at the premises for the purpose of fulfilling the terms and conditions of the licence and for preventing crime and disorder.
The licence holder shall ensure that all staff will undertake training in their responsibilities in relation to the sale of alcohol, particularly with regards to underage persons.
The licence holder will keep records of staff training and refresher training on a regular basis. Staff training records will be made available upon request to an Officer from the Local Authority and or Police. The prevention of crime and disorder
The licence holder will ensure CCTV will be installed and maintained in full working order. Prominent signage will be displayed throughout the premises informing people that there is CCTV in operation. All recordings will be maintained for at least 28 days and will be made available to an authorised officer of the licensing Authority or a Police Officer on demand.
The licence holder shall ensure that there is prominent signage that will be displayed throughout the premises informing customers and staff that there is CCTV in operation.
The licence holder will ensure a refusals register will be kept and used on the premises, to record instances where the sale of alcohol to a customer is refused. Records must be kept for a minimum of 12 months and must be made available to the Local Authority, Police and Trading Standards upon request. Public Safety
The licence holder will ensure that appropriate update to date Fire Safety procedures are in place, including appropriate fire extinguishers and fire blanket etc
The licence holder will ensure all appliances are inspected annually and a record kept.
The licence holder shall ensure that all emergency exits shall always be well signed posted and kept free from obstruction. The prevention of public nuisance
The licence holder shall display signage at the entry and exit doors advising customers to respect residents, leave quietly, not to loiter outside the premises or in the vicinity and to dispose of litter legally.
The licence holder will ensure that any litter left by customers will be cleared away and disposed of (or recycled) As much of the deli packaging as possible will be compostable/recyclable. The protection of children from harm
The licence holder shall implement the 'Challenge 25' scheme, ensuring prominent signage is displayed throughout the premises. The Licence Holder shall ensure that any person selling or supplying alcohol at the premises, asks for photographic proof of ID document where they have reason to suspect that the individual may be under 25 years of age.
