General Conditions Crime and Disorder
All members of staff at the premises will seek ‘credible’ photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
The Licensee/DPS will actively participate in a local Pubwatch/Nightsafe scheme(s) (or similar) where such a scheme operates within the locality of the premises.
The Licensee will provide and install a noise-limiting device in accordance with guidance from the Council’s Head of Health.
The Licensee will ensure that plastic glasses are used for the consumption of alcohol at outside events.
The Licensee will ensure that outside lighting is provided and used during the hours of darkness when any form of licensable activity is taking place.
The Licensee will ensure that no person other than a hotel guest or companions of such a guest or an employee shall be admitted to the premises between 23:00 and 07:00 the following morning on Fridays and Saturdays, and the principal door at the front of the premises shall be secured between 23:00 and 02:30 the following morning. The Licensee will carry out an assessment of any risk management relating to the licensed premises, and take appropriate steps to minimise any problems identified.
The Licensee will ensure that the following systems are maintained and inspected by a suitably qualified professional person in accordance with the appropriate British Standard an at intervals recommended in national guidance, and will keep the records of such inspections available for inspection by authorised officers on request:  Safety applicances
The Licensee will not adopt any drink promotion activities that undermine a policy of responsible drinking.
The Licensee will ensure that the maximum permitted number of persons on the premise will not exceed as specified. Prevention of Public Nuisance
The Licensee will ensure that the activities of patrons leaving the premises are monitored and, if appropriate, remind them of their public responsibilities.
The Licensee will ensure that adequate steps are in place (e.g. signage and/or sufficient staff on site) to ensure that customers leave the premises quietly.
The Licensee will ensure that adequate waste bins are provided, and emptied on a regular basis.
The Licensee will ensure that empty bottles and glasses are collected regularly both inside and outside the licensed premises.
The performance of a play outdoors shall take place on no more than 5 occasions in any one calendar year. Any amplification of music or speech in connection with the performance of a play outdoors shall finish no later than 23:00hrs.
The exhibition of a film outdoors shall take place on no more than 5 occasions in any one calendar year. Any amplification of music or speech in connection with the exhibition of a film outdoors shall finish no later than 23:hrs.
The performance of live music outdoors and the playing of recorded music from a disco, karaoke or jukebox outdoors shall take place on no more than 5 occasions in any one calendar year. On such occasions amplified musical entertainment shall finish no later than 23:00hrs.
After 23:00hrs all windows to those parts of the premises used for the provision of musical entertainment shall be kept closed when there are performances of live music, when recorded music from a disco, karaoke or jukebox is being played, and when there is amplification of music or speech in connection with the performance of a play and a exhibition of a film.
After 23:00hrs all external doors to those parts of the premises used for the provision of musical entertainment shall be kept closed, other than for access and egress, when there are performances of live music, when recorded music from a disco, karaoke or jukebox is being played, and when there is amplification of music or speech in connection with the performance of a play and the exhibition of a film.
The volume of the amplification system for any description of musical entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
There shall be nor use of any external seating areas or beer gardens after 23:30hrs. Protection of children from harm
The Licensee will ensure that children are not permitted in the bar area, other than for access and egress.
The Licensee will provide appropriate “Under Age” warning notices.
