Authorised sale of: Intoxicating liquor of all descriptions Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours. The following non standard timings shall apply in respect of the licensable activities applicable: On St David’s Day, St Patrick’s Day, St George’s Day, and St Andrew’s Day, the finish time will be extended by one hour, with seven days notice and agreement with the police. For statutory bank holiday weekend periods (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) and for the Thursday before Good Friday and for Christmas Eve, the finish time will be extended by one hour beyond these times. On occasions of local, national or international significance or for charitable events, limited to twelve per year, the finish time will be extended by one hour, with ten days notice and agreement with the Police. In respect of the non standard and non specific timings there shall be no more than 12 such applications per year (excluding TENs), an operating plan covering the additional measures to be taken to manage crime and disorder on these occasions shall be completed and submitted to Merseyside Police and the Local Authority In respect of the above, a minimum of ten days Notice shall be given to Merseyside Police and the Local Authority, with Merseyside Police reserving the right to veto any of these applications There shall be no live entertainment after 23.00 on any day of the week
When Door Staff are used they shall be Security Industry Authority (SIA) approved and operate in accordance with the security industry guidelines. CCTV shall be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition. Cameras shall encompass all ingress and egress to the premises and all areas where the sale/ supply of alcohol occurs. Equipment shall be maintained in good working order and recordings kept in date order, numbered consequentially and kept for a period of 31 days and handed to Police on request. The Recording equipment and tapes shall be kept in a secure environment under the control of the DPS or other responsible named individual. Appropriate signage shall be provided, representative of the above, in conspicuous positions. A zero tolerance towards illegal drugs shall be enforced at all times. If a disc jockey is used on any night then he/she shall ask customers to leave quietly. All instances of crime and disorder shall be reported to the police and shall be kept in an incident log book. Free drinking water shall be available at all times. Additional patrols shall take place by members of staff, internally and externally, to limit any noise pollution when entertainment is being offered within the premises. When children are allowed upon the premises, any entertainment offered within the premises shall be suitable for young persons. Children shall be required to be supervised by the accompanying adult at all times. A no smoking area shall be provided. Soft drinks and non-alcoholic refreshment shall be available. A recognised proof of age policy shall be enforced. Notices shall be placed at the exits to the premises requesting patrons to leave quietly with consideration to local residents
The beer garden/outside drinking area to be vacated by customers consuming alcohol and food by 23.00 on all days of the week and all drinking receptacles to be removed from such areas by 23.30.
