Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions
LA03, Section 19: Mandatory conditions where licence authorises supply of alcohol
(1) Where a premises licence authorises the supply of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions.
(2) The first condition is that no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(3) The second condition is that every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

The prevention of crime and disorder:
" We will support bar watch or any locally acceptable scheme
" Customers will be encouraged to leave the premises in a quiet orderly manner in consideration of neighbours and public generally
Public safety:
" Fire safety equipment will be checked on a regular basis and maintained in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and instructions.
" Fire exits will be kept clear and marked
" First aid kit will be maintained on the premises
" Emergency lighting will be checked weekly and regularly maintained.
The prevention of public nuisance:
" Customers will be discouraged from delaying departure from outside the premises in consideration of others residing nearby or other persons passing the premises
" The License holder or anyone involved in the organisation of entertainment (including those controlling the volume of music), shall ensure that any noise emanating from the premises is such as not to cause annoyance or disturbance to residents in the locality.
" All doors and windows on the facades of the building which is the subject of this consent, shall be kept closed at all times during the entertainment evens, except when access is required to and from the premises.
The protection of children from harm:
" Proof of age by production of photo based ID will be required if customers wishing to purchase alcohol are suspected to be under the age of 18 years
" Staff training will take place on a regular basis with regar to legislation and with particular regard to the avoidance of under age sales.
