Licence conditions (23)

Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
General Conditions
The Designated Premises Supervisor will ensure that all existing staff, new staff, supervisors and managers recieve an induction in the legality and procedure of alcohol sales, prior to undertaking the sale of alcohol. This training will include the contents of the premises licence; times of operation, licensable activities and all conditions.
Training documents will be signed and dated, and training records will be made available to a police officer or council officer on request. The records will be maintained for at least 18 months. Crime and Disorder
Alcohol will only be for consumption on the premises and in the designated area immediately outside the shop.
No multiple drinks promotions such as '2 for 1' or '3 for 2' will be permitted.
Alcohol will only be supplied by waiter/waitress service.
A CCTV system which covers all licensable areas will be installed and maintained in working order. It will record all images when the store is open during licensable hours and will retain those images for at least 28 days. A member of staff who is trained in the use of the CCTV system will be available at all times the premises are open to the public and be capable of copying images to a suitable media. These images will be made available to a police officer or other authorised officer upon reasonable request, without delay. Public Safety
All exit doors will be easily openable and will not require the use of a key, card, code or simliar means.
Doors at exits will be regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily and a record of the check will be kept.
Clear gangways to exits will be maintained.
A capacity of 60 customers will be maintained. Prevention of Public Nuisance
The premises licence holder will take all necessary steps to ensure that noise or vibration is not noticeable at the facade of any noise sensitive premises/nearest residential property.
The placing of bottles into receptacles outside the premises will tale place at times that will minimise disturbance to nearby properties and will not take place between 23:00 and 07:00 hours.
The premises licence holder will implement a system to ensure that offensive smells from the licensed premises are not permitted so as to cause nuisance to nearby properties and the premises are properly vented.
Receptacles for waste will be emptied regularly to minimise nuisance smells.
Signs will be placed in a prominent place at all exit points of the premises requesting patrons to respect neighbours and leave quietly.
Litter will be prevented at all times and where identified, regularly cleared from the immediate vicinity of the premises. Protection of children from harm
A 'Challenge 21' policy will be adopted.
Challenge 21 posters will be displayed at the point of sale and one other prominemt position within the premises.
No unaccompanied children will be permitted to remain on the premises after 20:00 hours.
A refusals register will be maintained and be made available for inspection to police or authorised officers upon request. The Designated Premises Supervisor will regualrly check the register to ensure it is being consistently used by all staff.
