Licence conditions (47)

Clear and legible signage shall at all times be prominently displayed at all exit doors reminding patrons to leave quietly and with consideration to local residents.
On occasions when regulated live entertainment is being provided all windows and doors at the premises shall remain closed except for customer access/ egress ( excepting any doors that have to kept locked open for public safety reasons).
There shall be no external drinking after 23:00 hours.
Regulated entertainment by way of live music shall cease at 23:00 hours.
External background music shall cease at 21:00 hours.
There shall be no other external regulated entertainment.
Children under the age of 18 years shall not be permitted to play the gaming machines and signs to this effect shall be displayed near the machines.
On Friday and Saturday evening, and on every evening where regulated entertainment is taking place there shall be a minimum of 3 SIA door supervisors on duty from 20:00 hours until the last customer leaves.
No children under the age of 18 years of age shall be allowed on the premises after 22.00 hours.
There shall be no admissions or re-admissions after 22:30 hours whenever the premises operates beyond 23:00 hours for the sale of alcohol, with the exception of re-admissions of patrons using the designated smoking area.
The CCTV system serving the premises shall be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times. It shall make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and of the purchasers of the alcohol. The CCTV recordings shall show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made and all images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days. CCTV recordings shall be made available for viewing by any police officer, community support officer or authorised officer of the Licensing Authority upon demand. The original, or a copy, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised officer of the Council.
The premises shall operate in accordance with the 'Challenge 21' scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years and over, anyone who appears under 21 years of age will be asked for ID. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises
The only proof of age accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a proof of age card bearing the 'PASS' hologram logo, a passport, or a photocard full driving licence.
A refusals book shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been refused. This book must be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person of the Licensing Authority.
Each sale of alcohol made on the premises shall be consumed on the premises.
Staff shall receive regular training on the prevention of underage sales. Such training shall be recorded and these records shall, on request be made available to the Police, community support officer or an authorized officer of the Licensing Authority.
The facilities for dancing for dancing and performance of live music will be permitted to no more than two (2) events per calendar month.
The exit from the north side patio area into the car park shall be used as an emergency exit only.
Where live musical entertainment is to be provided at any time during the night hours (23:00 hours to 07:00 hours the following day) noise from the regulated entertainment shall be inaudible at the façade (façade meaning the elevation of elevations of buildings used for habitation that face towards the licensed premises) of nearby residential premises.
Together with for the purposes of paragraph 6(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 all other licensable activities which may be carried out at the premises by virtue of the justices licence issued under the Licensing Act 1964 and existing as of the date of this licence, which include but may not be limited to the following:
Public entertainment may be provided by the reproduction of wireless (including television) broadcasts or of programme included in any other service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990) other than a sound or television broadcasting service, or public entertainment by way of music and singing only which is provided solely by the reproduction of recorded sound;
ii) Private entertainment, that is to say dancing and music, may be provided and promoted for private gain; and
For the purpose of paragraph 6(8) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 this licence is subject to the effect of restrictions contained in the Licensing Act 1964 and the Children and Young Persons Act 1933,which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during the hours authorised under this licence, however this restriction does not prohibit:
During the first twenty minutes after the authorised hour the consumption of alcohol on the premises
During the first thirty minutes after the authorised hour the consumption of alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied as an ancillary to the meals;
During the first twenty minutes after the authorised hour the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
The consumption of alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
The ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the dispatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
The sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
The sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty's naval, military or air forces;
The taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there;
The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, if the alcohol is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
ii) Alcohol shall not be supplied or sold unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied:
With and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal;
For consumption by a person residing in the premises or his guest and paid for together with his accommodation;
To a canteen or mess.
iii) No child shall be employed:
So long as he is under the age of fourteen years;
To do any work other than light work;
Before the close of school hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
Before seven o'clock in the morning or after seven o'clock in the evening on any day;
For more than two hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
For more than two hours on any Sunday;
Five hours in any day on which he is not required to attend school, and which is not a Sunday;
For more than thirty-five hours or, if he is under the age of fifteen years, for more than twenty-five hours
