Licence conditions (14)

General Conditions The premises will be managed in accordance with Club rules.
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours. In this condition, permitted hours means: ) On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, Good Friday or New Year’s Eve,
a.m. to 11 p.m. ) On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve,
noon to 10.30 p.m. ) On Good Friday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m. ) On New Year’s Eve, except on a Sunday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. ) On New Year’s Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m. ) On Christmas day, as provided by the rules of the club and notified in writing by the chairman or secretary of the club to the chief executive of the justices for the petty sessions area in which the premises are. The said hours shall: i) not exceed six and a half hours; ii) not begin earlier than 12 noon; iii) not end later than 10.30 p.m. iv) provide for a break of at least 2 hours, including 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; v) not extend for more than three and a half hours after 5 p.m. g) On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
The above restrictions do not prohibit: ) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises; ) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel; ) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied as ancillary to the meals; ) the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing. NB: A person shall be treated as residing in any premises, notwithstanding that he occupies sleeping accommodation in a separate building, if he is provided with that accommodation in the course of a business of providing board and lodging for reward at those premises and the building is habitually used for the purpose by way of annexe or overflow in connection with those premises and is occupied and managed with those premises. Crime and Disorder
The Licensee will ensure that staff are adequately trained to request suitable ID (e.g. passport, driving licence, birth certificate or PASS card) from anyone attempting to purchase alcohol who appears to be under 18, and will refuse to supply alcohol to that person if such ID is not provided.
The Licensee will ensure that a refusal register is maintained. Public Safety
The Licensee will ensure that fire safety equipment is regularly tested and inspected.
The Licensee will ensure that fire exits are clearly identified. Prevention of Public Nuisance
The Licensee will ensure that signage is provided on the premises reminding patrons to leave the area quietly.
The Licensee will ensure that: The volume of any amplification system used in connection with any description of regulated entertainment provided at the premises shall be strictly controlled such that noise levels shall not be intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties. All doors and windows to those parts of the premises used for the provision of regulated entertainment shall be kept closed, other than for access and egress, after 23:00 hours when any description of regulated entertainment is taking place. The outdoor seating area shown shaded on drawing 1283/2 attached to the application shall not be used after 23:00 hours for any purpose other than by members and bona fide guests for the purposes of smoking. Protection of children from harm
The Licensee will ensure that children are not allowed on the club premises unless accompany by a responsible adult.
The Licensee will ensure that when children are playing outside they are constantly checked to make sure they are coming to no harm.
The Licensee will ensure that a refusal register is maintained.
