Licence conditions (4)

1.CCTV will be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition. a. Cameras shall encompass all ingress and egress to the premises and all areas where the sale and supply of alcohol occurs. b. Equipment must be maintained in good working order, be correctly time and date stamped, recordings must be kept on the hard drive and kept for a period of 31 days and handed to Police upon reasonable request. c. The premises licence holder must ensure at all times a DPS or appointed member of staff is capable and competent at downloading CCTV footage in a recordable format to the Police and Local Authority upon reasonable request.
2.All persons that sell or supply alcohol to customers must have licensing training. a. Training should take place within six weeks of employment and any new employees will be supervised until the training has taken place. b. Refresher training should be repeated a minimum of every 12 months or earlier if required due to changes of legislation. c. Training records must be kept on the premises and shall contain the nature, content and frequency of all training. d. Records must be made available for inspection by Police, Police Licensing Officer and authorised officers from the Local Authority upon request either electronically or hard copy.
3.A refusal register will be in operation at the premises. All staff involved in the sale of alcohol will be fully trained in the system and it will record the following: a. Item refused. b. Name of description of the person refused. c. Reason for refusal. d. Name of staff member making refusal
4.The register will be available for inspection to any Police Officer, Local Authority Licensing Officer or Trading Standards Officer at any reasonable time. General:- The Premises Supervisor in situ will ensure that all existing Health and Safety checks will be carried out, and that all existing policies that ensure the care and safety of patrons are observed. Prevention of Crime and Disorder:- The DPS, manager or other responsible person will ensure that the premises will become a member of 'Pubwatch' or any other similar group if established. Public Safety:- Health and Safety Risk assessments shall be carried out prior to the Premises licence being effective and a copy retained for inspection upon request by an officer of the local Licensing Authority, Police or Fire Authority or other relevant person. Safety appliances and systems shall be tested at least once in any 12 month period, and certification obtained stating that the appliances tested are in a satisfactory condition. Relevant certificates shall be retained and presented for inspection at the request of an officer of the Licensing Authority, Local Police or Fire Authority or any other relevant person. Public Nuisance:- Prominent, clear notices shall be displayed at all exits / in the beer garden/outside areas, requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and the area quietly. Any amplified music shall be turned down to a low level at least 30 minutes before the end of the times specified in the operating schedule (24.00hrs) to allow for a 'Wind Down' period. Protection of Children from Harm No person under the age of 14 years shall be permitted on the premises unless accompanied by an adult. No persons under the age of 16 years, shall be permitted to remain on the premises after 21.00, unless they are the child of the DPS, are residing at the premises or passing through the premises to gain access to a place of accommodation.
