Additional Steps Taken in order to Promote the Four Licensing Objectives:
General:-
Following an assessment of the premises and its surrounding area the following is proposed:
30 minute "drinking up" time will allow appropriate dispersal, use of lavatories etc. In order to further the licensing objectives, the licensee reserves the right to move the fire appliances, AWP machines, cigarette machines and or any other similar objects temporarily in a fixed location which may impact on the ability of individuals on the premises to use exits or escape routes without impediment.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder:-
Lighting in car park and all external areas. Member of Pubwatch. Most customers are local.
Public Safety:-
Health and Hygiene certificate. Emergency lighting. Fire alarm. Fire fighting equipment. Smoking charter displayed.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance:-
Windows are lockable and closed when music in the pub. Fabric of building retains sound. Manage customer departure.
The Protection of Children from harm:-
No unaccompanied children. No gaming machines. Non smoking area. No striptease or nudity. A designated family area which is non smoking.
Conditions attached after a Hearing:

As advised by the Fire Authority, the maximum permissible number of persons that may be present within the area indicated as used for licensable activities at one time must not exceed 60.
No more than 36 live music events in any 12 month period
All exterior doors and windows which is subject of this consent, shall be kept closed at all times during live music, except when access is required to and from the premises
The outside area to be cleared by 23.20 hours on Monday to Saturday and 22.50 hours on Sunday
Means of communication with the Licensee to be made available to residents
All windows and doors to be closed by 23.30 hours except for egress and ingress
Suitable and conspicuous notices to be displayed at all entrances, exits and the car park in appropriate places reminding patrons it is a residential area and to leave quietly.
Signage to encourage customers to obtain taxis through the bar staff. The licensee to encourage the taxis not to sound their horns or run their engines when waiting for patrons
No music to be played in or transmitted to the outside area.
The Protection of Children from Harm:-
Accompanied children allowed in the designated family area and outside area only, accept for access in and out of the premises and use of the toilets. The designated family area to be no smoking and separated by a closed door from any smoking area.
