There will be no variation to the hours already permitted for New Years Eve
Live Music: Fri and Sat 18:00-00:00, other: The presence of a live band is usually only at a wedding and the wedding "season" is genrally from April - September. There may also be live music for some Christmas and New Year functions. On Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and the Fridays and Saturdays of Bank Holiday weekends music will continue until 01.00 Not every wedding has a live band; if they do; the band plays for slots of time during the course of the evening. The band would not perform throughout the time listed above.
Recorded Music: Fri and Sat 18:00-00:00, other: A disco is usually only for a wedding and the wedding season is generally from April to September A disco will also be used to provide entertainment at Christmas and New Year functions. On Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and the Fridays and Saturdays of Bank Holiday Weekends music will continue until 01.00 Incidental music is played every day in the restaurant, bar and public areas of the hotel. Licence conditions (15)

The variation is to cover the provision of a disco and / or live band and dancing at weddings and functions held at the hotel until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays only. The area which is the subject of the application to vary is shown edged in red on the plan attached. The application does not affect the remainder of the licensed area in the hotel. Only one function is held at a time.
The application is also to vary the time of the supply of alcohol to non-residents in the area shown edged red on the plan attached so as to permit the supply of alcohol until 11.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays with an additional hour on Christmas Eve, and the Fridays and Saturdays of Bank Holiday weekends.
The application includes some functions outside the standard hours. These areexplained in the Rider attached and detailed in the "proposed terms" attached. The premises is a long established hotel which plays an important part in the local economy both as an employer and a purchaser.
The genral manager of the hotel has liaised with local residents and witha local security company to introduce measures set out in the attached "proposed terms" to address the licensing objectives particularly preventing nuisance.
