Licence conditions (29)

CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
LICENSING OF PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT
Conditions carried over from the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982:
Public music and dancing and public entertainment of the like kind on weekdays between the hours of 12.00hrs and 00.00hrs. Musical entertainment only Saturdays between the hours of 12.00hrs and 00.00hrs and on Sunday between the hours of 12.00hrs and 22.30hrs.
This Licence is subject to the provisions of the said Act, to the Regulations and Conditions now or from time to time made by the local Council and to any Additional Conditions included on this Licence.
Additional Conditions
1) The electrical installation shall be inspected at least once in every five years, or such lesser period as is considered appropriate to the individual case, by a competent electrical engineer appointed by or on behalf of the licensee of the premises and a certificate stating the condition of the installation shall after each inspection, be forwarded to the Council by or on behalf of the licensee of the premises.
2) The number of persons (excluding staff and attendants) to be allowed at any one time in the licensed premises shall not exceed: 150
3) Events are to be held on a maximum of 1day in any one week.
4) Admission to all parts of the licensed areas shall be given at all reasonable times, either during or other than during an event, to authorised officers of the Pollution Team, even without prior notice.
5) The licence holder or anyone involved in the organisation of entertainment (including those controlling the volume of music) shall ensure that any noise emanating from the premises is such as not to cause annoyance or disturbance to residents in the locality.
6) No pyrotechnics or laser displays are authorised by this licence.
Advisory Notes
7) The applicant should note that these conditions are set so as to minimise disturbance to residents. They are not to be taken as safe exposure levels for employees. It is the employer's responsibility to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations regarding noise exposure for their employees.
8) The applicant should note that monitoring of the noise from a licensed event may be undertaken by Officers from the Council.

1) The expression "musical entertainment" is defined in the Sunday Entertainment Act 1982 as a "concert or similar entertainment consisting
of the performance of music, with or without singing or recitation."

Exhibit Film:- Indoors only. Exhibition of video entertainment on screens and amusement machines.
Indoor Sports Event:- Indoor pub games comprising a sporting event in the presence of an audience.
Live Music:- Indoors only. The application to include live music is made to permit only occasional provision and would be an ancillary activity. Any amplification would be controlled by management systems.
Recorded Music:- Indoors only. Background music normally is only provided. Recorded music, including juke box, with or without DJ, during normal business hours or as part of functions and includingaudience participation will only be provided occasionally.
Performances of Dance:- Indoors only.
Facilities for Making Music:- Indoors only. To be used as and when required at any time when the premises are open for the sale of alcohol and will be under the control of management.
Facilities for Dancing:- Indoors only. To be used as and when required at any time when the premises are open for the sale of alcohol. There is no designated dance floor at the premises and this section has only been completed to ensure that there would be no breach of the licence if customers were deemed on occasion to be doing more than spontaneous dancing to any music provided. Dancing is not actively encouraged.
Late Night Refreshment:- Indoors only. To permit the provision of refreshment after 23.00 and to allow the provision of food and hot drinks for consumption on the premises at the managers discretion.
Premises Open to the Public:-
Premises open 24 hours a day to residents. Non-residents will be asked to vacate the premises half an hour after the sale of alcohol has ended.
