Conditions carried over from the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982
This Licence is subject to the provisions of the said Act, to the Regulations and Conditions now or from time to time made by the above Council and to any Additional Conditions included on this Licence.
Additional Conditions
1) The electrical installation shall be inspected at least once in every five years, or such lesser period as is considered appropriate to the individual case, by a competent electrical engineer appointed by or on behalf of the licensee of the premises and a certificate stating the condition of the installation shall after each inspection, be forwarded to the Council by or on behalf of the licensee of the premises.
2) The number of persons (excluding staff and attendants) to be allowed at any one time in the licensed premises shall not exceed:

The applicant has stated that they will carry out the following conditions to promote the four licensing objectives:
general - all four licensing objectives
Extended opening until midnight for sale and consumption of alcohol on certain Friday and Saturday evenings for cast, crew and their friends only at private parties. Front doors of main building to be locked as usual by 23.00 when general public leave.
Extended hours may also be used for occasional social functions, with admission to invited guests only.
We do not envisage any change to our currnet modus operandi.
The prevention of crime and disorder:
To avoid productions and entertainment which might encourage disorderly behaviour.
Staff briefed to request proof of age if necessary.
Main front doors to building to be locked by 23.00, after which only members and invited guests will be admitted.
Only members to be advised of occasional extended oening times.
Public Safety:
The premises is managed in good order and complies with Health and Safety and fire Safety regulations.
Staff training procedures are in place.
Abbey Theatre is already a non-smoking buliding.
The prevention of public nuisance:
Letters were sent on 24 June 2005 to residents backing onto the theatre, informing them of our application, and we will communicate with then as necessary.
Members will be asked to remove cars from the car park at the rear of the building by 23.00 to avoid disturbing neighbouring residents.
No significant change to our current schedule is intended under the new licence, particularly relating to early morning or late night events.
The protection of children from harm:
Further training for Box office and Front of House staff to deal with enforcing restrictions on age limits for entry to films, according to classification by relevant film body.
Rooms with no access to the bar available for young people's groups.
