Licence conditions (28)

CCTV to be fitted to a standard agreed by the Police and that complies with the
"CCTV Code of Practice" (Latest edition) as produced by the Information
Commissioners Office. The CCTV coverage shall include all areas to which the public have access (with the exception of areas agreed by the Police, for example toilet cubicles) and will cover stairwells and entrances. It will also cover any areas which are expected to be used to eject or temporarily hold customers.
The CCTV system will be maintained and serviced on a regular basis and records kept to that effect.
The DPS will ensure that the CCTV is displaying the correct date and time (To within 5 minutes)
The CCTV shall be recording at all times that the premises are open to the public.
Images will be retained for a period of at least 30 days.
The Police or local authority will be given a copy of the CCTV in a suitable format within 48 hours of any reasonable request.
A member of staff who can operate the CCTV will be on duty at all times the premises are open to the public and will be able to provide the Police with a copy of CCTV, upon request in the case of a serious incident occurring.
At least one member of staff with a personal licence will be on duty at all times that the premises are open for the sale of alcohol.
The DPS will be responsible for the maintaining of an incident book at the premises and this book will log all incidents which are "out of the ordinary".
Adequate arrangements will be in place to accommodate less abled people and enable their safe movement within the premises. Those arrangements will also consider the needs during a safe evacuation from the premises in case of an incident. All staff will be trained in the safe evacuation of the premise of all occupants.
Adequate and appropriate first aid equipment/materials will be on site at all times that the premises are open to the public.
A minimum of at least one member of staff trained in First Aid will be on duty.
The premises will undertake the "Challenge 25" Scheme.
All staff involved in the sale or supply of alcohol will be trained in the "Challenge 25" Scheme and such training will be recorded.
The only proof of age that will be accepted by staff will be a photographic driving licence, a passport or a 'PASS' marked proof of age card.
Sufficient staff shall be employed at all times and in the event, it should be considered appropriate at specific times e.g. weekends, licensed door supervisors will be employed.
The premises shall be secure when not in use and so reduce the chance of any targeted crime.
Excess stock to be stored in locked cupboards/storage areas.
The Designated Premises Supervisor and other members of staff would have authority to refuse patrons service even if they have made a booking.
The toilets shall be regularly monitored.
Smoke and heat detection devices as well as fire alarm equipment, bell sounder, extinguishers and emergency lighting will be in place throughout the licensed premises as shown on the attached plan.
The premises will have fire exits shown on the attached plan and the fire exit on the 1st floor of 108 Week Street will provide an additional fire exit for the other Mu Mu premises licence.
The number of persons coming in and out of the premises will be strictly monitored and in any event under the current themed proposal there will be a booking system in place.
The premises will only utilise background music/television and on odd occasions when for example a sporting event may be shown on the television, the level of sound shall be controlled and monitored.
The upmarket experience is not in any way aimed at children. As a matter of general practice, the experience is aimed at adults only, although if adults did want to attend with a child under 16 years they will be permitted entry if accompanied by that adult.
