  29. The Sub-Committee noted that based on evidence from Mr Tanner and Mr Tibble, the premise is very small and has good airflow and extraction. The Sub-Committee has therefore decided to allow accompanied children on the premises until 21.00 hours, departing from the Council's Statement of Licensing Policy, section 8.3.5, page 16.

  31. The types of regulated entertainments proposed r-instate and then enhance the normal pub entertainments that were previously unregulated, with the benefit to enhance the local facilities fro social entertainment and reduce the focus on alcohol.
  32. No new steps have been identified by risk assessment in relation to the four licensing objectives, except as below

  34. The prevention of crime and disorder
  35. Providing a 30 minute "wind down" period after the end of the sale of alcohol will promote this objective as the last drink will be consumed less quickly, with access to the pubs toilet facilities and the provision of non-alcoholic refreshment during this period.

  40. Notices reminding departing customers to respect our neighbours and leave the premises quietly will be affixed adjacent to each exit, and on the rear patio area.

  43. The protection of children from harm
  44. No unusual risks of harm to children have been identified
  45. Where age-restricted films classified according to the British Board of Film Classification are exhibited, steps will be taken to ensure that younger children are not present
  46. All staff will be briefed on acceptable proof of age and action to take if they suspect its validity.
