Film Exhibitions
The admission of children, that is persons under 18 years of age, to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) or by Bexley Council.
Notices shall be displayed near the exits of the premises asking customers to " Please leave quietly";
DJ's shall be required to make announcements to guests (10 minutes prior to the close of the bar and entertainment and again when the bar closes/entertainment ends) reminding guests to leave quietly and show respect for local residents;
When the sale of alcohol ends, all the lights will be turned on throughout the function suite and the entertainment/music will be stopped at the commencement of the drinking up period;
A member of staff shall be stationed at the main exit from the building during drinking up time, to remind guests that this is a residential area and to leave quietly;
Where regulated entertainment is to be provided at any time during the night hours (23:00 hours to 07:00 hours the following day), noise from the provision of regulated entertainment shall be inaudible at the façade (façade meaning the elevation or elevations of buildings used for habitation that face towards the licensed premises) of nearby residential properties;
The applicant will publish and provide to local residents a telephone number for contact in the event of disturbance and other issues arising from the operation of the licence;
The terms and conditions of hire of the premises will not permit temporary event notices to be given covering any period after midnight;
The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years and over, anyone who appears under 25 years of age will be asked for ID. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises;
The only proof of age accepted in respect of the sale if alcohol shall be a proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram, a passport or photocard full driving licence;
A refusals book shall be kept at the premises in which shall be recorded forthwith the date, and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a child or a customer unable to produce proof of age has been refused. This book shall be made available for inspection by a police officer, community support officer or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority;
No person under the age of 18 years shall be allowed to consume alcohol on the premises;
No person under the age of 18 years shall be allowed on the premises unless accompanied by an adult;
Alcohol shall only be sold to persons consuming a substantial table meal or attending a pre-booked bona fide function at the premises or waiting to be seated for a pre-booked substantial table meal. Note: Condition 13 above shall not apply until 30 November 2020. For the avoidance of doubt this condition will be re-instated on 1 December 2020.
Before the roof terrace may be used for any permitted use a lobby shall be constructed to prevent the break out of noise.
The permitted use of the roof terrace shall be in accordance with "Schedule 1 - Roof Terrace" produced to the Sub-Committee and attached to this licence.
Together with for the purposes of paragraph 6(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 all other licensable activities which may be carried out at the premises by virtue of the justices licence issued under the Licensing Act 1964 and existing as of the date of this licence, which include but may not be limited to the following:
Public entertainment may be provided by the reproduction of wireless (including television) broadcasts or of programme included in any other service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990) other than a sound or television broadcasting service, or public entertainment by way of music and singing only which is provided solely by the reproduction of recorded sound;
ii) Private entertainment, that is to say dancing and music, may be provided and promoted for private gain; and
